Yes I did. It was in Wimbledon, London. We met her brother Zoheb, Nazia's cute lil son, Zoheb's wife Gina, and Nazia's parents. They were holding a special prayer for Nazia's health. That's why I was there. She gave me her autograph. She was very frail and Bless her heart and soul, told Imam how she wished she had time to study more on Islam & that if she recuperates she wishes to record an album on Islamic Nasheeds. Its v.unsettling, all circumstances leading to her demise.

She had lung cancer for some years before death, but her parents and sibling claimed that a week before her death she had recorded a legal statement that she suspects her husband has slowly poisoned her and police should carry out inquiry on this line (she herself was a lawyer too).

Her husband, Ishtiaq Baig, does not have good reputation in Pakistan. A typical businessman cum politician ('charhtay sooraj ka pujaari', hypocrite).

Nazia Hassan was born in Karachi, Pakistan on April 3, 1965.Nazia was married in March 30, 1995 with Mirza Ishtiaq Baig. This marriage was a complete failure and Nazia Hassan got divorced just before her demise. Nazia Hassan died in London on August 13, 2000 due to lung cancer at the age 35. Nazia Hassan's joy in life was her son Arez who was born on April 7, 1997. Arez was only three when his mother's succumbed to cancer.
