This camera looks quite big :P Would be a nice addition to my E500. But than the price... Here in Holland: € 1488 fot the body + 14-54mm F2.8-3.5 II lens... Quite a lot of money.

This proto type had been released as E30.

If the full articulated screen is your thing, Olympus had released another model for half the price, E620.

Of course, the performance-wise, the two models are not the same.

thank you for clarifying that, I thought the Olympus EA-1 would be a completely different camera entirely.

its already out its not an ea-1 its the e-30

It was to be called the EA1 but it's certainly the E30 now.

i'm excited about this camera. hopefully it's in a price range i'll be able to afford when it comes out.
