  • Hahaha love the translation ;P

  • HAHAHAHA eccelente! The translation is wonderful! Regards.

  • Compared to your Il Trovatore, these sets are delightful, great improve! well all settings are awesome specially the Leonora's packed food castle. love your job, please keep producing those!!!

  • and teh scene of scarpia with the smoke wisps was brilliant

  • HAHA tears in my eyes 'never let her know a secret, she always tells' LOL I love how you keep basically the same meaning of the original lines but make it funny

  • LOL "pretty hot isn't she"

  • HAHAHA Great!

  • Just awesome...20/20...keep the great work!

Loved to see Siegfried in lego!

  • Dude, this is brilliant.

  • omg this is amazing. i finally logged in for the first time in 4 years, just to comment. wow. I love tosca. i love legos. you have married the two. it's like the heavens opened up and rained inspiration that flooded into my heart. thank you. i am laughing, i am tingling.

  • this is genius the choreography must have taken ages...10/10...i love it

  • This is fabulous.

  • Do lego la traviata!

  • Your opera videos are AMAZING!

Great job; I love watching these! :-) If you ever did "La Traviata", that would be awesome.

  • awesome! :)

  • You are very clever! Love it! Seeing Tosca tomorrow night at the Met with Mattila so this is a good warmup.

  • Lucky devil, able to go to the Met...

I'm stuck in the environmental and cultural desert of Palmdale, California... oy... good friends there (all in theatre, so that's something) but still...

The closest I get is Met radio on XM... what's it actually LIKE there?

Hopefully I can go there someday, move to NYC and see a Pucinni (or G&S) there... and THE Mets of New York Town, my team (even when they DO collapse.)

    ;)

  • Opera + Lego. (and I LOVE the air-drop by usb cable. ) You are amazing. Hi-five!!!

  • Tha subtitles are great :)

  • hahahahahahaha

  • Hilarious. Loved it. Bravo

  • AMAZI NG! I laugh a lot! I loved scarpia!! Great idea!! What about Anna Netrebko and Rolando Villazón´s Elisir da amor? or better try Massenet´s Manon!!!! I wuld love that hahaha

And how would it be to see Mim´s death with lego?? This was amazing!!

  • This is great! And yes do the Ring.

  • Wow, nice translations!

  • GENIALE!!!!!

    Geniale Geniale Geniale

  • O please do the ring cycle!!! Please!!!

    You are GREAAAAAAAAT!!!!

    Brava!!!

  • This made me laugh so hard I nearly wet my pants!!! Scarpia ROCKS!!! Stop motion would have ruined it. I would love to see "Bratz" doing Dialogue of the Carmelites!

  • The tenor is Pavarotti but who is the soprano? Scotto? Freni? Kabaivanska?

  • Freni is right.

  • You have combined two of my favorite things!!! You are absolutely amazing~!!! Love it =D!!

  • Bwahaha, I especially love Scarpia and the portrait :D

  • OMG! this is one of the funnyest things i have ever seen i wish i had watched this before i had gone to see it. LOL.

  • rotflcopter.

Now i challenge you to do the ring cycle :P

  • Thank you. My 11-yo and I are LOVING it! Better than a performance at The Met! If you have not yet, please do Turandot. :)

  • It's a very good idea, but i've just one questions, why don't you make your clip in stop motion?

  • WOW! To quote Arnold Rimmer "I laughed so hard I nearly puked"! Tosca is my favourite opera and I think this lego version is FANTASTIC! Well done.

  • Brilliant! Tosca is one of my favorites, so the freely translated subtitles are a special delight. :)

  • omg mr.walby i tought u only did 2 movies

aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh diz is me singing opera lol

  • Absolutely fantastic. I don't know that this is what Sardou, Illica and Puccini had in mind...but the inventor of leggos...perhaps!

  • Pavarotti looks great as a lego-man -- He's lost so much weight! Tosca's outfit would be great on Minnie from Fanciulla...

  • The singing is extraordinary and I've seen productions that were a lot worse than this one. Bravo!!!!

  • That was good lol

  • "You wild soprano, you!"

    Oh lawl.

Very amusing, and I feel educated now too! ^.^

  • oh my gosh that is so brilliant haha i laughed the whole time. keep them coming!!!!

  • Fabulous! The essence of love displayed for all to see.

  • HAHA! Great idea, good work.

  • Mirella Freni and Luciano Pavarotti in Lego form... Genius!!!

One suggestion though. Maybe you should consider painting on more appropriate costumes on the lego people instead of using as is. It would look off the hook!

Thanks. This was funny and cute

    Especially the

    "AAAAAAAGHGHGAHAAAAHGHGHGHAAAAAA!!!!"

  • I'm looking into that for the next opera. I've finally found a place on line where you can just buy lego body parts... it's a bizarre world out there.

  • WOW, I understand opera as never before :-)

Very creative, thanks for doing this!!!
