George lost a lot of my respect for him. He wouldn't fight for freedom? The point is that the treatment they get is definitely "pampering" compared to the treatment of other immigrant groups in our history. Did the Poles get all this free stuff? The Irish? Italians? The answer is NO.

@Sedamore - Constitution grants negative privledges to the Federal Government inversely. In other words it prevents Fed from doing this or that. Arizona's law is just helping the Federals out doing what they should be doing Article 4 Section 4.

Since I highly doubt you had any involvement in the framing of this country I don't think you have any special right to tell anyone about how this is your country and they need to leave. Being born anywhere is a luck of the draw, and just because someone was born in Mexico, South Africa, France, or the United States doesn't mean anything. The US was also built on the blood and sweat of many Mexicans.

In the here and now, we the citizens of this nation DO have a right to determine the direction of our nation. There is a process to legally entering and immigrating into the US, just like every single other nation in the world. We would be expected to follow those laws if we emigrated to another nation, and so Mexican people should follow our laws immigrating here.

George lost a lot of my respect for him. He wouldn't fight for freedom? America has deteriorated thanks to illegal immigration, the banks that are in power, and the corruption on both sides of the parties. Only a few politicians speak honestly and with common sense. I am not a huge fan of Sarah, but George isn't a white rose either.
But if decides to go back, which I highly doubt, I wish him a safe trip. That's all that I can say to him since I lost my admiration towards him.

The point is that the treatment they get is definitely "pampering" compared to the treatment of other immigrant groups in our history. Did the Poles get all this free stuff? The Irish? Italians? @Sedamore the only reform needed is for law authorities to enforce existing laws and for politicans to allow it. There's nothing wrong about brewer or arpaio. They actually try to enforce the law. The entire "race" isn't suffering. No law abiding citizen would be affected by any immigration law in the united states. If they don't want to be separated, they should have come legally. They should be thankful that their kids are allowed to become full citizens, btw.

@Sedamore - Constitution grants negative privledges to the Federal Government inversely. In other words it prevents Fed from doing this or that. Arizona's law is just helping the Federals out doing what they should be doing Article 4 Section 4.
If the Federal gov says oh that's not right for Arizona to have the law - then they're gonna ask well why aren't you enforcing your own laws? Then the federals have to either step up and enforce it, OR deny legitimacy that comes with a refusal to do so.

Since I highly doubt you had any involvement in the framing of this country I don't think you have any special right to tell anyone about how this is your country and they need to leave. Being born anywhere is a luck of the draw, and just because someone was born in Mexico, South Africa, France, or the United States doesn't mean anything. The US was also built on the blood and sweat of many Mexicans.

In the here and now, we the citizens of this nation DO have a right to determine the direction of our nation. There is a process to legally entering and immigrating into the US, just like every single other nation in the world. We would be expected to follow those laws if we emigrated to another nation, and so Mexican people should follow our laws immigrating here.

@GBTRU Do you really think that bailing out industries with borrowed money we cannot pay back in saving the country? Do you really think the nationalizing these industries is more in line with Free Markets or Socialism? These companies should have been allowed to fail and restructure under the provisions of Chapter 13. The bailouts should have ended with TARP and those responsible for the near collapse imprisoned.

I have no problem with paying my fair share of taxes (a flat tax would be preferable) as long as the Fed acts fiscally responsible, which neither the last administration of this one did. Thats what the Tea Parties are mainly promoting. Would you run your household finances this way? Bush seized un-Constitutional power under the guise of National Security. Obama is doing same under the guise of economic crisis which is actually making it worse.

I want a RETURN to principles that made us the greatest republic in history: freedom to succeed or fail based on merit and fundamental belief in a higher power. I want a RETREAT from a culture that has become apathetic and feels entitled without individual effort and sacrifice and an end to the belief that we are source for all the worlds ills. I do not want to saddle future generations with debt we created. I want our country to remain that shining city on the hill that represents freedom.

@GBTRU Look, everyone agreed that the way Health Care is provided for needed to be reformed. However, it is not a right, nor is housing or decent wage as established in the Bill of Rights. Forcing individuals to purchase any product or service is un-Constitutional. The method this move toward a Single Payer System was done stinks of bribery, political trickery and elitism. There were other solutions.
