For you who has'nt played NS: Its a firstperson strategy game where you try to control the map and gain resources, upgrading to new tech levels or evolving to new lifeforms - by spending the resources gathered from resource towers spread on the map.

and.. there is a other mode, combat, where all the map control, teching, and strategy is ripped off and you level up instead. Though that can be fun too, its not close to classic NS in awesomeness IMO :P

If performance is an issue, use the in-game demo recording and then output the frames later. It doesn't reduce performance much, if at all. There's guides on how to do this online.

This video is from combat mode. Combat Mode really has nothing to do with the original mode apart from the weapons and lifeforms.

In NS Mode, the marines has a command center that views the game from a 2d perspective. He sees most parts of the map, builds buildings, and direct the marines where to go (even though the marines are human played). While this sounds like an advantage, the Khaara can morph into a being called Gorge, and in turn, build buildings independently. Khaara navigate with WH.

Partly due to the unique fanbase, the game requires a brain... Then again, everyone wants to be a winner :)

Thats why they made "Combat Mode", eliminating the need of a commander, letting everyone run around like idiots. Combat Mode is a dumbed down take on NS, where the "CS" players roamed :)
