I never seen the episode where Jean Grey returns to the earth from the sun...Like even here on youtube all of a sudden shes in Muir Island getting treathement but they never show when she crashes into the water until Emma Frost brinsg it up
she is neither evil nor good , right? dunno much about her , was suprised about what happend in the last xmen movie where she killed almost everybody, where charles xavier is suddenly alive at the end of the movie.... confusing confusing, i just started watching the cartoon from the 90s now :)

i don't understand why people keep thinking that jean is dead.... she is alive and collecting the missing pieces of the phoenix force in the white hot room.... she is the phoenix herself, so she is immortal i guess.... from the comic books, the other hosts of the phoenix force like rachel and skanky Emma's stepford cockoos lost their powers recently because jean is starting to forcefully collect her remains.... i'm guessing that she will return to earth soon....

I agree i was disapointed at how easy it is to kill phoenix in the x-men movie. Looks like they did it on purpose to make jean greys character simple so that the other charcters like wolverine or even superman will shine better at the box-office.

phoenix is born of of all creation and is the embodiment of life....and death, it can and has devoured worlds and stars....and is the protector of the crystal...most powerful force ever created by the comic world and they knew not how to deal with it, much like jean grey...so they had her die and the phoenix left.....
