  • con esa parte yo llore mucho !

  • First movie that made me cry. Its a sort of stress reliever for me now when i watch it. Thanks hachiko.

  • I can't stop crying! this is horrible! poor thing :(

and I honestly wish that like in the movie they somehow got reunited in a better place. I hate to think that the dog wasted his life like that, being all depressed and waiting for something he'll never get back.

    RIP Hachiko

  • SOO sad and it was 9 years how long he waited

  • wow this movie made ime cry so much. Like I litterally cried through pretty much the whole movie. This part was really sad

  • I lost my dog (Sam) in 2008 he was 19 yrs and the day he got put down was the hardest thing i done, it still hurts now, over time the pain gets less but the love for him is as strong as ever, R.I.P. little lad too the day i whistle for you...

  • watched -> Cried -> Replayed -> Cried Again .... Didn't have the courage to replay the third time. :(

  • OMG everytime I see this part I break into tears!! TT-TT

  • Bro im a guy who thinks these movies like these cant make me cry but when i saw haichi's face i cried and hugged my dog im sad

  • Even a guy can't take it ):

  • courage, life is unfair these animals are those that will never be human jai it myself and three dogs are toujour this not just to play or eat non-ill m comforts me I'm listening shoutais much courage! : (

  • wtf. I was like I'm not gonna cry I've seen this movie more than a couple of times before. damn you old guy! I started crying because of you

  • I am gonna watch this tonight! D,:

  • It makes it even sadder when you think this is real life. He was waiting, waiting and waiting 10(actual 9) years for just one single, beloved person to wall out of the station doors. He was the best friend of a doctor that cared for him more than any other animal. Because a man's best friend will never forget that love and kindness you poured into their hearts. Hachi~

  • It was 9 years actually .. This movie .. is .. *sniff* D: Not gonna cry

  • It's heartbreaking !!!

  • I never cried

  • @980itachi L I A R

  • dude i cried at this part. not like *cry* but like *WHAAAAAA snot coming out muh nose WHAAA*

  • I am a animals Lover,

and I always Crying when i Saw this movie because it is a True Story of a loyality in the world,

from a cats & Dogs Lover : Nurliana igun (cimuning, BEKASI CITY)

  • I had two Japanese Akitas. The boy was full pedigree and the girl was a cross malamute we rescued from an Akita rescue centre. They were inseparable. When our old boy went blind and deaf she was his eyes and ears and woould never eat until he had eaten first. At fourteen years old our big loveable boy died of old age. Six months later we lost our beautiful girl too because she just couldn't live without him. She was 12.

  • I CRIED LIKE A WOMAN !! :s xD

  • If u dont cry after watching this movie, you are not human

  • @hungriheart 2 people aren't apparently....I am not one of them. I love this movie.

  • если весь фильм я просто плакала то здесь я разрыдалась.так больно.

  • This is the part where I broke down.

  • @elleke024 the same here

  • He is such a pooch :(

  • Lovable dog Hachiko. My Salute to him. In real what might he have gone through those 10 years of waiting for his deceased owner.

  • My dog Ninja (he was an Akita/Chow) looked exactly like Hachi in this scene. His coloring was different but his expressions were the same. We lost him in 2004 and it still hurts like it was just yesterday.

I will always remember my boys....Ninja...and later, Tokyo. Miss them both.

  • havnt seen dis movie yet..jus came acros hachiko while browsin..and nw dis clipping itself is makin me cry..

  • makes me cry everytime i watch...

and everytime i watch this i promise myself not to watch it again cz it makes me cry so much but then just cant resist watching it too LOVE YOU HACHI :'''''''')

  • HACHI :'''(

  • u wouldnt see a stupid cat doing this

  • original Japanese movie was way better

  • I had a husky and she passed away on august 2011 one month before she was turning 14 years old. One of the most painful moments of my life. Since that day i haven't stepped on our back yard where her house used to be because it will seem so empty. Needles to say i can't buy another pet because she is unreplacable to our family plus we can't go through the same pain again.

  • Everytime I watched this scene ,I cry :(

  • :'(

  • :(...

  • :(

  • where the hell is my dog, I want to hug him T-T

  • :(

  • This is the -only- movie scene that has -ever- brought tears to my eyes. ...and I hate pets...seriously.

  • but who was he waiting for?

  • @dumnorkevi

his owner...he worked as a profesor in some music school ...hachi follow him every day to the station and wait him until he returned....and one day he had a stroke or something like that ....he never returned...hachi was waiting for him 10 years after...until he died...true story..

  • @onen333 Poor dog ;(

  • @onen333 i've seen the movie too, i think it's one of the most inspiring movie ever, and i think the stroke was a heart attack, but that was probaly what you were saying

  • They got a sad looking dog. Coincidence? I think not

  • im willy crying alot;(

  • it doesnt make me cry. because my dog was an asshole..

  • @lolers24 not all dogs are the same ya know

  • What a sad story. :'(

  • i never cried like this before,

  • isnt 9 years?

  • I had a cat named Hatchi, I found him as a stray anyways at the time I had no Idea what it ment, I just thought It was a great and suiting name, well he died from a mysterious gash on his side two Christmases ago, he was my best friend, and when I found out about this dog that had almost the same name, I just...I just... RIP Hatchi, I miss you so so so so so much and I love you, I love you don't you ever forget that, I love you Hatchi, and I miss you so so so much....

  • What kind of dog is that?

  • @MonkeyGoHappy710 Akita :D

  • @MonkeyGoHappy710 Akita Inu(Japanese) to be exact. There are two types: American and Japanese

  • This always makes me wonder; did Hachi remember/recognize her too?

  • can't stop crying..

  • poor dog

  • i cried now

  • George from inside: THESE PRETZELS ARE MAKING ME THIRSTY !

  • Whats the movie called

  • @bronluke123456 Hachiko a dog's story

  • This always floods me in tears thats SOO beautiful he should be burrows with his owners body not stuffed in a museum!!! he waited 10 years to see him again the poor thing and they stick him in a museum let him just be with his owner in peace! R.I.P to them both. 

  • @DeadTiredGhoul24 That body is not his owner nor is that stuffed body him. The self is not your body so being buried with the body is not important. They can find each other again if they want to enough and whatever became of them they are no longer those bodies those are just empty shells for the self.

  • Hachiko will always have a place in my heart, even months after watching this i still find his loyalty amazing, but i find it so heartbreaking at the same time i cried for ages, only story to really make me cry. I wish he was buried next to his master, he really deserved that after 9 years of waiting. Yet hes been stuffed and put in a museum... Terrible. I hope to visit his statue one day. God bless you hachiko.. And professor ueno.

  • how dare those two people dislike this... really? :'(

  • T^T

  • This is the scene that got me crying like a little girl

  • .. am i right this one is a true story ? .

    .. sooooo touch ! .

  • @koromikashi you're right:) he has a statue near the exact station.

  • I hope hachi and his master are together now ^^

  • the sad part is this is based on a true story.

  • @turgore indeed it really lives a cut on my heart...

  • Who dare dislike this clip !? Those 2 dislikes are NOT human beings !

  • I cried so much when I saw this movie. I've had cats and dogs in my life as well as other pets. Just like people, different animals have different personalities and levels of intelligence. My cat Whiskers, who sadly had to be put down from cancer, did not die even after being given the shot until I told her that it was okay for her to go and that I'd be okay. We were bonded. Whiskers was an amazing cat. She played fetch, licked my face, and sat on command. She acted more like a dog than a cat.

  • @Uni92243 me too... see how loyal they are to heir masters if you show them love and respect.. they will give it back thrice as u are giving them...

  • also WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE DISLIKE THIS!!?

  • @brianthao102 serial killers, drug addicts, people who hate life, etc. :P

  • This type of Breed of Dogs always Remain Loyal to their master even death will not depart from this Dog's loyalty to the Master. This is Why Dogs are Mans' Best Friend.

  • just a clip.... just a friggin clip and my tears wont stop

  • :'-(

  • Please stop talking acout cats for the love of god? It's pointless anyway. You tell people about how dog gives unconditional love, they tell you "yeah but they smell, cat's don't ". My guess is that happens because you get used to that foul litterbox smell.

  • One of the best movie in the world....

  • O my gawd!!!! So sad!!! :(. Wow... Ten long yrs of waiting for your best friend that will never come back :(, made me cry my eyes out :,(.

  • THUMBS UP IF YOU CRYING NOW!. . . :-(

  • @Tolissssssssss how i see the first timei alone i will cry alot;(

  • i cried 2 times in my life,, when my aunt died,, and on this movie... cause i have an akita,, and i cant stand that one day he will die.. he is the same like this one,, the same colours..

  • @APOEL881985 Is it true that akitas doesn't bark and they always are aside with you? are they good with kids?

  • @Dragnet000 my akita barks but not often,, he is very quiet,, he only barks when something wrong is happening,, or when he is hungry .hehehe,,he's clever and easy to train,,, they are good withs kids ,, but be sure that you are near,,my akita loves my kid,, but i dont know what will happen if he is alone with some others kid... into my family and friends,, he is very friendly ,,

  • i cant watch this movie anymore...

  • I cried so hard at this part. sooo SAD! :(

  • this part of the movie is sooo sad

  • i can't watch it for the second time,,, my heart was so heavy,, i cried everytime i remember the movie, even when i'm at work,, this is one of my favorite movie:-(

  • Everyone stop arguing, please. Just Love Hachiko

  • also ich bin ein junge und ich hab so geheult das glaubt ihr nicht !!!

  • i can't imagine that hachi can wait for 10 years for his master

  • This is the saddest fucking movie ever made... People who say that Titanic and Water for Elephants is sadder are fucking morons... The movie starts so upbeat and happy then the rest just tugs at your heart until the end where it feels liek a Blade was driven through your heart :(((((((((

  • cant stop crying....

  • Very touching story. I'll call my dog now and give him a hug!

  • great recreation of the real thing =] loved it =] poor doggy was so puzzled that his owner didnt return and yet he continued to wait..

  • I've actually been to the real station where Hachiko's statue is in Japan. It was a really cool experience. I remember on the plane the Hachiko's movie was on and my mom was crying her ass off. lol

  • awww im still crying dang this movie!!!! :'(

  • @jonasgrant I only implied that because you gave that image of yourself. Saying that a cat doesn't care and then you tell me you actually raised cats. It just made me wonder how can you have had 36 cats and still think cats don't care?

And sorry, but I think a dog can live without you as much as cat does. You make dogs sound like their lives were depending on you.

My whole point with typing to you in the first place was think a bit what you write before you actually post it.

  • @69Flor As you say make comparisons between animals is ridiculous but if we speak of utility and the best connection with the man throughout history, the dog beats the cat by much. During my childhood I lived with cats and dogs, I saw in other homes and listen a lot of stories of both and once I became an adult I decided to just have dogs till today. Some cats have saved the lives of their owners, yes, but I really doubt that a cat can do something this extraordinary like Hachiko.

  • @SoTtOMaN829 And for the starters I only came here to show this movie to my friend 'cause I like it a lot and wanted him to see it too. The top rated comment I just didn't agree on and decided to defend cats for a change. I don't know when did it turn into argue again which ones are better. And like I said before I wouldn't compare Hachiko to what cat would and wouldn't do. :) It's a dog, cat is a cat.

  • @69Flor Well I think it's just a matter of feelings, you like dogs and cats equally, me, is not that I don't like cats but I prefer dogs that's all. I don't know what breed of cat you have, maybe you lucky, but believe me many are selfless and selfish. But it is what it is, cats are cats, dog are dogs, for the likes colors. Regards!

  • @SoTtOMaN829 Well at least we can both agree with that. Thank you for understanding my point a bit as well. :)

  • @69Flor lolz dude im not trying to be a dick but Dogs are better than cats... You can feed a cat 10 years and make one mistake they will swipe or bite you back... But you can feed a dog 10 years while abusing him *God forbid anyone does* and he will just look at you with eyes of forgiveness and lick your face every time.... I like kittens they are cute but Dogs are just such greater animals than cats and like someone stated before its just evolutionary lol...

  • @KrimeMater Oh lord. I won't even try to convince you. You just have no idea how wrong you are...

  • @69Flor naw u r just a kitty fanboy so ofc u r gonna deny anything i say and just say Cats > Dogs :p

  • @KrimeMater First of all you don't have to seen read my comments at all. I said I like both, cats and dogs, equally. Second of all, I wasn't here to compare them because like I said like 3 times by now you can't compare these 2 'cause they're completely different species. It's like comparing a moose to a whale. Thirdly your comment had nothing that could lead to conversation. You just assumed immidiately that you were right, which you're not.

And last I'm a woman. Happy now?

  • @69Flor i learned to never argue with women because you could tell them 2+2=4 and if they say its wrong there is nothing to tell dissaude them from believing 2+2=10... So believe what u want to but everyone agrees dogs > cats :)!

  • Comment removed

  • @KrimeMater Think what you want to think, but I will just do this simple expression at your way of thinking so I can finally get out of this miserable conversation which is not going anywhere due your lack of arguments: *facepalm*. Please stay in school, you will need it.

  • @KrimeMater P.s. Your everyone argument is going to be failing (surprise, surprise). I actually have a friend or 2 who prefer cats over dogs and friend or 2 who also prefer dogs, over cats. I think you should learn these couple words. Instead of "every" use "some" and instead of "better" use "prefer". You're welcome. ;)

  • @69Flor whatever floats your boat Flor lol...... like I said believe what you want but dogs are and will always be the best friend of humans A cat would never wait 10 years for you to return it just cares about its own survival... Dogs care about the survival of their pack leaders before their own sorry to rain on the parade but im not going to argue there are so many points against cats and i dont wanna waste time lol goodday to u

  • @KrimeMater Um. One really smart person said here something before. What was it again? Cats are independent animals, dogs pack animals. What does go around in your head when you compare things that aren't even comperable? And it's funny you always seem to be so sure about yourself. I would wanna see how you react to a failure, which you might not know will happen during your studies and in your career, simple part of life. Which I assume you think can never happen.

  • @69Flor But like one really smart man next to me just says I should dumb people like you 'cause they're not worth of my time. So good luck in school and life thinking that you're always right. You were real entertainment, hun, thanks. ♥ ;)

  • @69Flor and thanks for telling me to stay in school Im going to Cornell University and I like it quite nice here pursuing a career in Aerospace Engineering :)

  • Comment removed

  • Haha its funny you are obviously getting annoyed and irritated because you know you are wrong and just cant face the music :) therefore u resort to bringing in my personal life *telling me to stay in school* and calling me idiotic and silly in a subtle manner... here before I leave let me ask u one more thing... Do u honestly think *And I know u will say yes to lie to yourself* That your cat would wake you up in the middle of a fire? no it would sneak out the back door to survive :)

  • @KrimeMater I'm getting irritated by your lack of arguments. ;) Besides we both know cats don't seem be big enough to drag anyone out in the middle of fire? Do you honestly think a 3.5 kilo cat can drag a 70 kilo human out of fire? I think the only thing cat could do in that situation is to try to wake the owner up. And if ever read news you would know these things have happened (cats rescuing their owners). You're wrong again, doesn't surprise me.

  • Comment removed

  • @KrimeMater Next time at least read my comments before you type anything back. It just makes you appear silly and idiotic. And try at least a bit argue back instead of thinking you're absolutely right. Or at least have some experience over cats more than 1 day. :)

  • @KrimeMater That is so not true! First get a cat and than make your conclusions! And FYI ,I had a cat for 10 years and he gave me love because I gave it to him and he never have bitten me! Also not when I was angry at him because of some stupid reason!

  • @SoTtOMaN829 I'm sorry but you guys really need to shut up about dogs are better than cats. I really love this movie and I love dogs but I also love cats very mutch. I had a cat for 10 years and eventually he died because of cancer and my cat did cared about me and my family. He was a part of it and just that much important as me. So if you say that cats have no feelings and don't care about us or something like that it just means that just didn't have a cat jet!

  • @69Flor What @jonasgrant says about the disinterest of cats is true, they often do things like eat without even looking who puts the food and when it ends, don't give a fuck and go away. I saw this a lot of times but I've never seen a dog do something like that. With all respect to people who like cats like you, the dog (man's best friend) is the most amazing animal that has been connected with the human being.

  • @SoTtOMaN829 I like cats and I like dogs equally. I just don't like when people show up somewhere telling everyone that cats are like this and dogs are like that. They all are not the same. They both have their basic nature, yes, but there's always exceptions like among humans too.

P.s. My cats always come to thank me for food by meowing and walking around my legs so I don't know what your point was with that.

  • what makes the story soo touching is that the dog didnt just come to the train station every now and again it came EVERYDAY at the SAME time for TEN years after he died ;( he never gave up never lost hope

  • This story touches such a resonating chord in all people. From a Christian point of view it's like all of us- Waiting for Christ's return. To be again enveloped in his warm healing love which we all long for since we were in our mother's womb.

  • never fails to make me cry :( definitely one of my favorite movies

  • now in crying.......

  • this shows how loyal a dog can be

  • I can die now,......(can't I?.......)

  • Please, if ths clip moved you, please give a donation to your local or national animal rescue. In these times of need & uncertainty, please lets help these wonderful animals who are so full of love & devotion.

  • This film was on yesterday, cried like a baby even though I only saw the end of the film. Very moving and very true. Dogs remain loyal to you no matter what. They stay loyal to humans, even if they have been abused or whatever.

  • am proud of hachiko...

  • I always cry if i think about it :'(

  • a beautiful movie

btw 1:52 that hotdog seller is the butler from home alone 4

  • I'm a guy and I swear that I haven't cried for about 8 years. I'm always serious about business and everything else in my life but damn this movie just touched my heart for real! Seriously, even I cried while watching this movie. Never thought it could happen to me, but it happened..

  • Hachi will always and forever will be the symbol of what true loyalty is and how far the bond of dog and owner can go

  • just watched this movie... I was never touched that much by a movie like hachiko

  • Best scene in the movie.. Tears again,..

  • This is why I can't understand people who say, "I'm not a dog person. I prefer cats..." Dude, the cat doesn't care about you, but a dog will always love you, no matter what... like the bible says "You may not believe in Dog, but Dog believes in you."

    Sorry, emo trip O_o

  • @jonasgrant not all dogs lmao atika's are known for this trait

  • @jonasgrant cat's have been known to get depressed and die after the death of their owner. my friend's grandmother died at age 77 and her cat died the next day.

  • @john84753 Ah... Didn't know, I'll have to look it up ^^

  • @jonasgrant And I don't understand those who say "cats don't care about you." There is no doubt there is no animal as loyal as a dog but cats too can show love to the ones they grew up with.

I have a sweet cat who I grew up with from a rather young age. He's deaf and has gone through so much already and by now is getting old. Throughout his life I always showed more care to him than any of my family did. And I feel he knows this because he always waits for me to come home to keep me company.

  • @jonasgrant I beg to differ. It's harder for a cat to feel this way, because it's an independent animal whilst dogs are pack animals. But there was a cat I met for a week during the summer, and although we never fed him or let him stay inside at night, he came every single day to my window and never scratched or bit me. When I went on a walk, he would follow me instantly. And when I left the area, he ran after my car until we hit the highway and he couldn't chase us anymore.

  • @jonasgrant You obviously never had a cat. I have had a cat and a dog and they are not comperable

  • @69Flor I've had thirty six cats. I RAISED them.

  • @jonasgrant I still think the way of saying one of these creatures is better than other is ridiculous, of course you can prefer either one, but neither is better than the other. They're both out of each others league. I owned cats and dogs myself, currently 2 cats. I never was a cat person, but I can't stand idiotic
