  • fuck america, they think that they can control the iranians. Although its good to still see the old 747sp running its just sad the fact that america is controlling them and not to mention risking the lives of thousands everyday for flying on that, you never know what could happen to it

  • @averredude101 When have we ever tried to control Iran?? Their loony as fuck president is enriching Uranium. Which depleted rods CAN be used to make atomic weapons. We're not the only country worried about that happening. Also how is America controlling a fucking airplane? Seriously dude, get a clue! Can you explain how we (America) are controlling Iran? First I've ever heard of that nonsense.

  • @ssmows6 your country is bullshit, tell me why you started the war and if your going to say 9 fucking 11 then thats not the true reason arsehol, there was a longer history and its all your fault, wanker

  • @averredude101 Nothing is my fault, man. I was in high school when 9/11 happened. I'm republican and I didn't support the war. I do believe people should be help responsible for their actions, which Osama was. Please don't think all Americans are arrogant snobs who want to control everyone. Just because our government is corrupt and arrogant doesn't mean the people are. I know there is history between the Middle East and the United States, I have no reason why the war was started.

  • @averredude101 I haven't done anything to anyone. I don't care if your black, white, Chinese, Japanese, British, Iranian, Christian, Jewish or Muslim. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but please don't make it a personal attack against me.

  • @ssmows6 my point is not you, its your politicians and government

  • For all the political, religious and ideological fighters here. This video is of a 747 taking off. Please take your rude discussions and comments to an appropriate site.

  • Flaps are simple compared as except 747SP.

  • wow heavy plane, it takes off very slow!!

  • Islamic Republic is garbage, it will soon be destroyed and replaced by the old kingdom of Iran

  • very rare aircraft....

  • 747sp still in service

  • pretty quick rotation ! those flaps look kinda weird tho ...

  • @silenthill307 the SP model has single slotted flaps as opposed to the triple slotted ones on other 747 models. Instead of a track, these just have hinged arms that rotate down into position. all for weight savings.

  • 747SP with Iran Air livery is the most beautiful bird in the sky, glad to see EP-IAC backed into service after 7 years maintenance and hard work.

  • @33thDegree I can't agree more! That plane is simply gorgeous, specially with the "Homa" logo on its tailfin!

  • @arija999

yup, these planes are getting old. These US sanctions are going to cost lives one day.

  • @anush10 I think Iran Air can buy any plane over 8 years old or something like that, not from manufacturer but from airlines, so they could buy for example Singapore Airlines 747-400´s if they want, so its not from embargo only that Iran Air uses these old planes.

  • @Pvjinflight

i think its more than 8 years. Their government is kinda crazy too, so thats why they probably bought a couple russian jets lately.

  • @anush10 Yeah, and probably those small carriers in Iran like Caspian Airlines are buying old russian airplanes because they are so cheap too.

  • @Pvjinflight This is exactly what they've been doing lately. They've been purchasing A310 from Germany, and those aircrafts are in decent conditions! Nevertheless, I think the 747SP is still a gorgeous plane!

  • @anush10 bullshit. they know how to end them. they won't.

  • Awesome vintage 747 action! @flymajj-How did you like their service?

  • Is it a coal burner???lol!!! so dirty!!!

  • is old and dirty ;):)

  • looks old and dirty :D

  • Beijing´s airport is soooo big!

  • @an147 not bigger than London Heathrow or Paris CDG

  • @an147 ...and it looks like it has the tallest control tower.

  • I remember the first time I got on a plane, and when it took off i thought I was gonna die, lol

    it was scary as hell...

  • last time i was in boieng 747sp was when i was traveeling with syrianair in 2002.

I must say that this aircraft is too old to fly now.

  • well the americans wont sell the iranians new ones!!!!

  • Government might not be nice to u ,why people should get penalized?

  • unfortunately, governments are representatives of the people.

  • i don't think that those planes were sold to Iran Air first hand. I guess that Iran Air bought them second hand from some third parties. This obviously means that the US could not always enforce its embargo effecively on Iran :((((

  • @pouria91 iran will buy airbus and give a finger to arrogant ameritards. ::D

  • @chaghar don't get your hopes up ;)

  • @pouria91 Iran make ther owen playns.

The Islamic Repuplic have made total restoration, (and i mean total restoration with only the buddy left) of 87 boeing 747 in the last 10 years.

Otherwise they wouldn`t have any International playns.

    Long live Iran air

  • @chaghar ameritard? which raghead like you has the right to say that?

  • @chaghar Up your hole-a with the ayatollah. Eat pork, raghead.

  • @madisonelectronic eat my sausage and suck on both my onions fucktard.

  • @chaghar You cannot have sausage. Allah would be pissed off.

  • @madisonelectronic

wow. The very LEAST you could do was learn a little about Islam so you can ACTUALLY take the piss? Making non-references is neither clever nor fucking amusing. Fail.

  • @pouria91 so they should turn to Airbus.

  • also no hand break

  • what do u mean no handbrake????

  • From the state of flaps that's clear the airplane is not a recent one.

  • There are no "recent" ones. They stopped making them 25 years ago.

  • No flap hinge fairings on the SP? I suppose they used a more weight-efficient mechanism. Anyone know how it works?

Great video! I wonder what the load factors are like on this route

  • Wow, powerful takeoff!

  • ...and again 5 stars.... ^^

  • The wings are beautiful!!!

  • Does anybody know how long the flight from Tehran to Beijing is?

  • 6-10 hours?

  • 7 Hours and 50 minutes if you fly over the Himalayas, that's north and down.

  • Nice vid. I read somewhere that IranAir may be or already has acquired a boeing 747-400.
