Shadow of Angels...when I hear the song and say the title of it, it reminds me of the Fallen (by Lauren Kate) series in the shadows of the Angels!!!! great music!!
You know, when an Angel that has black wings, it means that he/she has lost their belief. I would believe otherwise that the person has lost the faith to carry out the orders that in which, it is too...inhumane and horrible to commit.
@demonbloodable The size of wings on any humanoid would have to be extremely large. Avian's have hollow bones, allowing them to fly because they are light, and so the wings displace more are per wing beat than they weigh. If a human-like creature were to want to fly with biological wings, they would need to take up enough space to displace more air in each beat than the being weighed. If humans had wings, they would have to be MASSIVE. Unless we hollowed out our bones, but that would kill us.
