The 1st time I played FIFA 99 this intro reminded me to the 1st stadium where a world cup final was played. The Estadio Centenario.

It reminded me of that ancient World cup of 1930 and the teams entering the field knowing they were making history.

It was by playing it when realized the Wembley was oldest stadium where a WC final was played.

I felt deeply saddened when I heard they were demolishing it but even more so when I heard about the towers.

Does anybody know why they were demolished?

La primera vez jugué este intro me recordó al Estadio Centenario, el primer estadio donde se jugó una final del mundo y el estadio más grande de mi lindo Montevideo.

En ese momento pensé que era el más antiguo del mundo donde se había jugado un mundial, pero gracias a este juego descubrí el Wembley.

Me sentí profundamente triste cuando lo demolieron como si me hubieran arrancado un pedazo del alma pero más ahún cuando escuché que demolerían las torres.
