If I didn't see it for myself, I wouldn't have believed it. I was under the impression that only the black man can deliver love songs with such emotional fortitude. But Chong Nee has elevated the typical polynesian tropics with the swagger of jazz and a touch of R&B. I am in awe that such raw talent of musicianship can be found in this part of the world. I sincerely hope Capitol, Sony and other major labels are scouting this diamond in the rough.
