Actually in '73 the Charger was again in the Coronet family. Which is why in 71 the Super Bee was available on the Charger. Mopar to ya.

For you it's like: "vs" means two cars are racing each other (cars as an example). Have you ever thought of why I might have put "vs" in the title? It's obviously the engine sounds that are challenging each other (clear winner: 69 Coronet in my eyes btw) and not the cars themselves having a race or so! Got it?

@ilovechevelle4evr Cause they're both B bodied Chryslers, same body platform. So it looks similar to the Charger at a first glance, but different C pillars, rear window (except for the Charger 500), body panels, body line, taillights, bumpers, the whole front end fascia.

Plymouth B bodies included the Road Runner and the GTX among other models.

Notice an overall body style of a '73 Road Runner looks similar to a '73 Charger? It boils down to the same company building these cars.

With the re-release of the coronet in 1965, the (at the time) new 1966 Charger was 'basically' a coronet with a fast back and four bucket seats. Then in 1968 the Coronet was redesigned and was the base for the Charger, RoadRunner, GTX, Satellite, Belvedere, & Superbee (wich also was a coronet but can be considered a different car depending on who you ask ) I myself have a 68 Coronet and previously owned a 73 Charger
