wish I could remember, it was pretty random. I used to just tune the banjo somewhere randomly within the key of the songs and write the parts back then. All I can say is that there are definitely a lot of open strings within that riff....I can tell that the first and last notes were open string...anything involving a hammer-on as well....that might point you in the right direction of the tuning. That's how I'd try to figure it out again haha
