Haywood was a traitor who defected to the Soviet Union and worked as Lenin's willing SHILL distracting from Communist slave labor gulags for the rest of his life. Disgusting.
He did indeed jump bail and go to Russia, but apparently he became disillusioned pretty quickly and died an unhappy recluse because of it a few years later. Unlike Elizabeth Gurley Flynn who was still keen on the USSR up until the 1940s.
I wouldn't trust them up there with the means of production for ice cubes. They'd find a way to corner the market ........
