My mother played this piece at a concert she gave during World War Two to raise money for the troops. She received a letter of thanks from Lady Clementine Churchill for her efforts. Somehow the beauty of the accompanying images is an apt reflection of Mummy's extraordinary beauty, both physical and spiritual. God bless her...miss her so much!
