In France they show that sort of stuff all the time for commercials and what not and it's considered as normal as seeing men half naked. For example kissing on the lips in the U.S is considered normal no one really thinks of it as sexually explicit, in the middle east if a man and a woman are holding hands people freak out.
also there is a diff between freespeech and being a blatent pervert. its not right for ppl to say they wanna do nasty things to kids. freespeech is when u can critisize the govt w/o going missing not having naked fuck fests on primetime tv where minors can be watching. you want porn go to a adult website or HBO. clear and simple.
how interesting i feel that if there is adult nudity then put it where kids cant watch it ie late at night and the more vivid stuff on cable channels like hbo or showtime. i feel that regular tv shows go a bit far and if they wanna be racy do it somewhere else.
If you are a good parent your children will not expose themselves to the worst the intranet has to offer. Child protection laws are merely another manipulation for control. Government does not give a shit about you or your children. What they care about is catching people doing illegal things so they can be juiced for money or thrown in prison.
If anyone is dumb enough to believe the A.C.L.U. or other government agencies actually care about children then they deserve whatever happens to them.
I am definitely too over the edge. That is because of my own experiences. I battle constantly with hypocrisy and I am under constant attack. I wish it weren't like this but it is. I have been an unaware tool- but I am awake and terribly flawed- but I have not and nor will hurt a kid. I am doing the best I can with what I have some days are good some aren't. I do not know any real christians- I wish I did.
The ACLU is right in that if parents want control over what their children view on the internet, they must regulate it themselves. Parents need to be educated about the dangers of the web, and ways in which they can "protect" their children; making laws will only damper society as a whole.
