Day burns down to night, Burns the edge of my soul. In the night I break into sparks of suns And become fires in a dust of bones Night knifes My breath swallows whole my tongue Turn back Reverse return In the night I see the real Concealed in the day's bright lie Eyes stitched shut White teeth smile Sleep walks and talks And feet mark time of day
Day burns down to night, Burns the edge of my soul. In the night I break into sparks of suns And become fires in a dust of bones Night knifes My breath swallows whole my tongue Turn back Reverse return In the night I see the real Concealed in the day's bright lie Eyes stitched shut White teeth smile Sleep walks and talks And feet mark time To the drumless beat =-= Pretty cool =-=
everyday is never any different and it burns his soul so realize that in the night he becomes different he sees the real truth in the lies of life. no one sees what anyone doesn't want us to see and everything has a perfect exterior. sleep is the only real truth we have.
only my personal opinion. i'm sure others would disagree. thats just what it means to me
i think its about the shallow people around him, how hes sick of it and he hates being with them so he feels better when hes asleep, because he doesnt have to deal with them
or its about him having a nightmare or dealing with the nightmare that his lifes become
One of my favorite movie scenes.

And become fires end.
The dust of bones. *
Small technicality, but this change in structure alters the meaning of the piece greatly.
