got myself a carron line last summer and it made all the difference...

    they are superb...

  • Excellent video Andrew. I seen you casting when Kirky was helping me out with the Dtx a few weeks ago and you make it look so easy unlike my casting that day. You've caught the quarry at the perfect angle in the video,

    Regards

    Steve

  • HI Andrew, great video as always you make it look so easy. Would you consider a more detailed video with a voice over with some of your thoughts on Fulcrum casting for some of us lesser mortals.

    Tight lines,

    jim Brown.

  • Very nice casting!

  • @TellisKatsogiannos

    Thankyou,

I will intend to do some proper video using a better coloured line on the river spey soon

    Kind Regards

    Andrew Toft

  • Great video. How long is the head and what length rod are you using?

  • @fishinwflies

    Hi There,

The line is a new profile carron 65" head which has now been made in orange.I will do some proper video as soon as the weather get better here.

The second line is a shooting head of 76"

which I use for competition it is traveling around 57 yards on the 15" rod but it looks much less on the video.

    kind Regards

    Andrew Toft.

  • Hi Andrew,

Absolutely beautiful cast, I wish my spey casting is like yours. Do you use Carron rod too?

    Cheers, Bintoro
