What a sad sight. I worked in Cassiar in 1952 when there weren't even roads and we lived in tents. I don't recognize anything. I did some videos on YouTube about my time there.
This is really sad, my son was born in Cassiar when things were booming.
We went back and had a good look around before the security guard booted us out.
Our house was still there but it was one of the few.. looked like a tornado blew through the town.Thanks very much for posting this.I'll not be forgetting Cassiar.
@jipsygal You might like to know that Cassiar is cleaned up and is very pretty even though it still is sad. I think about all of you when ever I am there.
