  • Its a national epidemic vollys, I applaude your real job, however you should stick to construction or go be a real firemeb, I used this vid for a lawsuit agaisnt a volly is why mr smartie and many more on here came in handy!! We proved that volly should not be allowed to blow stop signs and red lights, and we won too

  • @supersix15 I am not sure what you have derived your opinion of what a volunteer firefighter is but I feel you are greatly misinformed . First off I live in Texas and I am a VFF. In Texas about 77% of the Fire Dept. is Volunteer and only about 10 people in our station are paid . We are required to do all the same Fire Suppression , First Responder and Safety training . There are people who have advanced training but everyone works within there scope of knowledge . Google Manchaca Fire Rescue .

  • @1madinjun Don't try it brother. She is pretty ignorant and has no understanding of Volunteer work. Let alone ACTUAL work in the Fire Department alone.

  • @supersix15 Goood for you. Now, remember this when a Wildfire is threatining your house and a 'paid' department is already fighting another fire. But of course, SOP's state we are suppose to stop at red lights and stop signs, even though its time wasted if people like you actually paid attention. Anyway, Good day Ma'am. I pray to the Lord himself that you'll never need us.

  • Pick a verbal judo match you can win, because saying oh im a hero cause I race down the road with my lights blinking and my siren whaling just to get there and tell stories of calls past .and yes I have proof little education for you

  • @supersix15 So you're going to judge all Volunteers based on your local department? Ma'am, if you could send $10,000 a year to my area, I will make sure we become a stay in station. Only reason 75% of America is Volunteer is because people can't afford it. My real job? I work for an Construction company down in my area, pays good and I can still respond. I don't call myself a hero, but Cali's fires? Yep, Volunteer and Paid stations fought them.

  • @supersix15 By all means Ma'am if you HATE Volunteers with a passion to the point of insulting them like a child, why are you on this video anyway?? Also, please start filling our boots. I'd rather have ungreatful people face danger than a brother. Honestly, why insult something you can't do yourself? Your ignorant, prejudice, and acting like a child. There will always be Volunteer FF's. Half of America would be burnt if there was not. Now, leave this page that supports Volunteers.

  • So let me guess what is your real job then? Amaze me with this stellar answer!! Or do you just live off the good grace of being a unpaid fire depaetment, let me assure you, once you have to get a real job, this phase in your pathetic life will fade away and your gonna say what an idiot I was for doing that shit, only vol I see have no life or on a fixxed income because they cant work however they find the abilaty to fight fire, and pull hoses but they cant work, sounds like they have no morales

  • Nope just my opinion is set, your motive is not to help but rather to get your kicks by running blue or red lights down the road and how many lights you can get on a truck or car, my neighbor said it best "if my house catches fire dont call the fire department let it burn what they dont dsmage or destroy the fire will" after watching my local vol fire dept I noticed she was right, long after the dispatchers have told them to disregsrd they still spreading asphalt and running them lights !!

  • Appears your just some punk kid with entirely too much time on his hands probably still live with mommie and daddy you little douchbag, but your a hero, give me a break.

  • Well how many lives have you saved? Besides getting there and asking the victim hey are you okay the real heroes are on the way, then stand around telling war stories till the cops tell your dumbass your not needed but rather are adding to the problem, go blow your siren hero looks like you enjoy it

  • @supersix15 I have saved plenty. I'm trained to deal with medical calls as well and make sure that person is still alive and breathing when an Ambulance shows up, and they are not allowed to run into a burning building, unlike Firefighters who can put out fires and perfom all medical procedures any EMT can. So, I can save more lives. Punk kid? You're the one throwing insults around like a child and bashing Firefighters for wanting to help. Your the "punk kid" here Ma'am.

  • @Hobbitchoker i bet you have, a person would think that you would go be a "real" fireman then.

  • @supersix15 Why would I want to be a "real" Firefighter? If your definition of a "real" Firefighter is a man or women who stays in a station, you're being prejudice. I have said it before, and I'll say it again. Only difference between me and your definition of a "real" Firefighter is, I'm on call 24/7/365. Your "real" Firefighter stays in a station one day, then takes two days off. Ask a Firefigher and they'll tell you, we all put our gear on the same. I respect all bodies in the FD

  • @supersix15 I hope I can change your opinion, Ma'am. It's very unfair to us Volunteers who sacrifice so much just to be looked down upon without reason or cause.

  • @hobbitchoker I went a step furtherand checked several state laws, and no fire departments are of aware ofblue lights as the "national" color. However "red" is you douchbag, hahaha know the facts before ,just so you know hero, but your probably to busy jerking off this vid. Just so you know dumbass

  • @supersix15 For personal vehicles or an actual fire apparatus? Last I checked, my state ran blue lights for personal Volunteer vehicles. With your level of intelligence right now, I highly doubt your a firefighter.

  • @Hobbitchoker WELL HERO I CAN ASSURE YOU IT IS ILLEGAL TO DISPLAY A BLUE LIGHT IN YOUR "POV" IN TEXAS ,LOUSIANA, MISSISSIPPI, ALABAMA,GEIORGIA. BUT LIKE ANYTHING ELSE WITH A HERO AS YOURSELF, YOU THINK BECAUSE YOU HAVE A BLUE OR RED LIGHT IN YOUR CAR THAT YOU ARE SPECIAL, WHAT YOUR MAMA AND DADDY DID NOT SPEND ENOUGH TIME WITH YOU AS A BABY NOW YOU PUT LIGHTS IN YOUR TRUCK OR CAR TO GET SPECIAL ATTENTION. WHAT A LOSER

  • @supersix15 Not illegal in my state, or a majority of them. Special for having a light that warns people? No, I care for others saftey and my own. So when I go to save lifes and property, I want others to see me, I WANT that attention when responding so I don't have anyone else hit me. You however, have no clue what I am talking about. Never have, and never will. But, its funny how you actually have to look these things up. Personal insults? Grow up, then reply.

  • anyone who hates on firefighters either didn't make it through the academy or they're wife left for a firefighter!!

  • being a volunteer firefighter means the world to me. theres nothing id rather be doing. if the fire dept has somethen goen on ill give up my day to get help everyone out cause were not friends were a family. and anyone that has negativity post ur adress and ill get in touch with your local FD and tell em when your house is burning to the ground. dont go.

  • im a jr. firefighter for a volter deptment

     we r 15-17

  • @supersix15 you know when people see us coming should know to get out of the way because they know that were in a hurry and someones life is in danger and its our job to help someone out so when people complain about us not gettin there in time its because people dont watch what there doing when we are comeing so you cant sit there and say that a volunteer fire fighter will kill you because we are just doing our job which is to save lives

  • a volunteer fireman will kill you quiker than a drunk driver on the roads they get that adrinalin dump from the pagers going off and katie bar the door get out of the way cause they will run your ass over on the way to a damn turtle crossing the street.

  • @supersix15 we go through training to drive the trucks we drive, alot of us go to school to be better at what we do and we dont ask to be paid we do it to help even to help people like you who talk trash about us if you think you can do better join a volunteer dept and when your sick got a fever can barely breath and its pooring outside see if you get off your ass to go help cuz we do our brothers and sister die everyday to save people just like you dont talk trash they may save you one day

  • @supersix15 I'd like to see you do what we do. All through the toughest winter to the hottest summer. Cocky slicks like you, DO NOT survive. When your house burns down or you wreck your car and need help, don't call the FD, there will be a volunteer heading your way if you do.

  • @Hobbitchoker i bet you have a badge pinned on your hip and more red lights on your truck than a xmas tree, we refer to this type as a "wanna be" then 40 vollys show up to a scene and run around like chickens with their heads cut off, get a life go be a REAL fireman.

  • @supersix15 Nope. I just wear my shirt. Nope, 2 lights up front, 2 in the back, one up top. Simple. You know what the difference between a "real" firefighter is and a volunteer firefighter is? One stays at a station from 9-5. The other is always on call. Volunteers are always on call. I doubt you were a firefighter. I haven't met one his stupid.

  • @Hobbitchoker i stand corrected you have too much time on your hands go get a life or go be a real fireman .

  • @supersix15 Great job. Only proved me right. Anyway, have a blast with your false judgements.

  • @supersix15 I also forgot to mention, "red lights" are not used on Volunteer vehicles. The national color is BLUE, not red. Just a little education for you.

  • @Hobbitchoker you should check your state laws my educated friend not only are you wrong, but atleast you think you know everything, it is illegal to display a blue light in my state. i can show you the statue since you say its the national color. what dumbass

  • WHOOOO!!! INDIANA FIREFIGHTERS ROCK!!!

  • Did they get air at 2:51 ?

  • bless you all a firefighters life is not an easy one at all by any means i work close with the firefighters here in canada and trust me when i say when i roll up to a call and a firefighter is leaning over a patient doing c.p.r. but everything he does is for not the person expiers those tears in hi eyes are real

  • HA! we made pancakes at our station last night

  • my fiance is a vol firefighter. ive been with him when hes gotten calls and i cant believe some of the people who for fun, do not pull over for him, like for real, what if it was your famiy member in trouble?Firefighters ARE heros, theyrun into a burning building when everyone else is running out. They absolutly deserve gratitude and appreciation..putting their lives on the line for total strangers and dropping whatever they are doing at the time when their tone goes off. THANKS&STAY SAFE!

  • Volunteer firefighting is in fact older than the united states. The first volunteer fire dept. in North America was est. in 1736 by no other than ben franklin. It is one of the most richest and dangerous American tradition

  • Comment removed

  • wow, i can't believe the negative comments about firefighters (if they get paid or not). does anyone know the mental side of firefighting? try responding to a call to a car accident (yes firefighters go to car accidents too) and finding a young child not breathing and you have to perform CPR or seeing someone dying and taking their last breath in front of you. I think if you value your life or someone you love that you would appreciate what a firefighter might do to try to save you someday.

  • So volunteers make pancakes and drive code 3 to calls? Whata life ;)

  • Anyone ho would make the statement"volunteer fire fighter are paid what they are worth is so true" Because millions of dollars isn't enough money to pay all the volunteers in the U.S. My friend there is no cost that you can put on risking your life for your community and country. The volunteer fire fighters take same certifications and training as paid personal. The difference is volunteers do it all for free. Stay safe brothers; Joe Hudgins Henderson County, TN Volunteer Fire Fighter.

  • i am i Jr. in my towns volunteer departenmt and i cant go to calls for 2 years but i still have fun doing the trainning and things that we do

  • lol jerkoffs

  • @TheHugeRichard Jerkoffs? You're the idiot that started the whole thing lol

  • volunteer firefighters are paid what theyre worth......NOTHING

  • @TheHugeRichard Your shit will be worth nothing after a "worthless" volunteer firefighter such as myself reads this and skips your call... dumbass.

  • @TheHugeRichard the comment was uncalled for. volunteer firefighters work on their time with no pay to protect you and everyone else. i would like to see you try and do this.

  • @TheHugeRichard, I hope when you trapped in that back room with the hole fucking place burning they won't find you, you know we risk are lives because we care about others but you, you have the devils soul.

  • @TheHugeRichard Funny thing is...73% of all firefighters in the United States are volunteer. Bet we are worth a lot when you need us.

  • @TheHugeRichard O.K. I will give you the benefit of the doubt. What is your reasoning behind saying what you said. Can you give me REASONS why you think we are worthless? How much experience have you had with volunteer firefighters? Are you making this statement on pure conjecture without any REAL knowledge on the subject? What dept. do you work for? My guess is you have NO idea what you are talking about or you would not have said what you said.

  • @TheHugeRichard at least we offer our time and effort to something that gives us back something that no amount of money can buy; a sense of pride in our community and gratitude from people who know what we're really worth. keep the money, that's the thing that's really worth nothing.

  • @TheHugeRichard thats your opinion but dont you dare ever call the fire department and whine that it took too long. volunteer firefighters are just like you they have jobs but when the tone drops there out the door. shame on you. ive responded to calls and had ppl just like you go and say the same thing. the cops didnt say anything when i decked him. and your probably the same jerk that sees the trucks coming and laughs to your buddies and says watch this while you dont get out of the way.

  • awesome awesome vid!!!

  • great video, I am a career firefighter that came from a volunteer service, I miss it every day but thankfull for doing the job I do now. We are all one in the same, moulded from fire.... we are all born firefighters. The firefighter that showed me the most and is the reason why I am a firefighter is a voluteer. To say a voluteer is paid what there worth... then you are not one of us, you are not welcome in our house.

  • People dont know how to respect our Firefighters they are not just into fighting fires to get paid for it. They are doing what they know and love. My Uncle was a Firefighter for about 25 years and now he is doing volunteer he just cannot get enough of fighting fires and going on calls.

He isnt doing it for the money he is doing it because he loves it

Have some respect for our Firefighters.. God Bless You Guys

  • i love this job but i also hate it. the job comes with way too much bullshit. i am a volly and i give other vollys alot of respect but fuck the volunteers in my station they dont teach me or do shit the paid guys taught me everything i kno

  • what state is your department in?

  • So I a have been sitting here and damn near read a book of comments, I'm just gonna say volly or paid NYC or the ass crack of america we all do the same thing for the same reason we aren't hero's but people seem to think we are. we are just people who do it for people cuz we all know its right.

  • @ArmyRescue1.....you're a hero to me because you're willing to save someone and risk your own life...that takes courage....and you say it's because it's right....it's amazing that there are some people that aren't selfish and do "what's right".....thank you--you don't have to do it

  • Great video.....I love beng a firefighter...Im paid on call...and at the end of the year...I donate my whole check back to the fire dept. Im not in it for the money....I'm in it because I love doing it and I love helping people.

  • @amblefire That's awesome man!

  • @amblefire how do you pay your bills? you have time for a second job? i was thinking of volunteering.

  • @zerosix1786 I run a 4000 acre dairy farm, thats how I pay the bills, and I was in the USMC. You can always get a "job" and then do the FD on the side.

  • @amblefire that is an amazing thing you do. I am proud to call you a brother firefighter

  • @tek997 Hell yeah man!

  • iam going to join volunteer firefighters this Wednesday but i have issue there are 3 vol FF stations i dont know if to go with the top dogs or the station that needs more people.. any help ? thanks

  • @2565marek the one with out as many people because one person can make a diffrence

  • this depects what my dept goes through everyday

  • i'm a junior volunteer and i love it

  • @nov2529 same here brother.

  • I LOVE WOMEN IN THE FIRE SERVICE! lol Stay safe And keep kickin ass !

  • Good video. Stay safe.

  • Getting tired of every firefighter video having a "hero" song. Can you say cocky? Anyone who uses the word hero to describe themselves and their job is not a hero. You don't give yourself the title and too many of you give it to yourselves. I bet myself that the second song here would be Hero by foo fighters. Oh I won! So cliche. Heroes aren't firefighters or cops. They're ordinary people who go out of their way while just living life who save a life or display great strength and courage.

  • @tbsdrummer87 This country should be run on complete volunteer basis so it's not some status position. It's not really hard to be one, maybe the time schedules conflicting but if party boys, beer belly boys, and old men can do it, might as well throw in some more women and teenagers. The younger FFs are all about "look at me" don't lie! The older guys who've been there a while hold the intelligence, younger guys just want the status because at a young age everyone's competing to be something.

  • @tbsdrummer87 ok fag listen here its not a job i dont get paid for the shit so just shut ur fucking mouth you little bitch

  • @PaigeLouise567 Oh what a dignified firefighter. Homophobic and trash talker. I would love to have you represent my department. I think you're the 'little bitch' because you're the one freaking out... not me :)

  • @tbsdrummer87 When you say the younger firefighters are all about "Look at Me!" Thats where your wrong. I'm 16 years old, and a volunteer in my community. But you cant tell by looking at me. I never get on the truck to go to a call, unless my chief decides to let me ride with him in his POV, and I hardly ever wear fire department clothing. I just work at the station washing truck and rolling hose on my free time.

  • @Rhody6694 im a junior too but i go on call whenever i feel like it in the trucks

  • @nov2529 Well i do depending on what it is. Usually I ride our squad, or if we have a small crew i'll get on the engine. But usually i stay behind and man the station.

  • @Rhody6694 your one of very few, keep up the work and learn everyhting you can! If you make it your career you'll never regret it buddy.

  • @MrChucktbags I do plan on it, and thank you.

  • @tbsdrummer87 what the fuck do you think fire fighters and cops do you fuckin stupid bitch we are ordinary people who go out of are way to help save someone we dont even fucking know. just last week i did mouth to mouth on s 50 year old man i have never met before in my life and him and his family came down to the station and made dinner for us.. just to say thanks.. and when that call came out for him i was out at dinner with my girlfriend i told her just to stay there i will be right

  • @gfd4550 Police and paid firefighters don't go out of their way to save people lol It's a job..they get paid to respond......And a lot of people have given mouth to mouth who aren't cops, firefighters.....it's not going out of your way to save a life ..it's the right thing to do...especially when it's your job...or you chose to volunteer

I personally think everybody should take cpr training......i know im ready if anybody needs help..im not a firefighter, cop or medic

  • @tbsdrummer87 back .. think twice about what come out of ur mouth u punk ass bitch you are fucking with the wrong people.

  • @gfd4550 Oh what a firefighter you are, swearing like a sailor. If I were a dept captain I'd reprimand you for your conduct. Punk ass bitch? What are you, some homeslice wankster? How am I fucking with the wrong people? I didn't know firefighters were harmful people, thought yall we're suppose to be HEROES not zeros. I'm not fucking with anyone, you're bragging and blowing and noone's calling you out. You don't go out of your way if it's your job. Otherwise you wouldn't do it.

  • @tbsdrummer87 I agree especially when roofers, garbage men, Steel Workers, commercial fisherman, Timber Workers, pilots, Farmers/ranchers, Power Workers,Coal Miners etc are all more dangerous jobs...They have far more work related deaths or injuries....But the media and hollywood loves blowing firefighters since it's a "sexy" job compared to say ..farming or timber workers which have easily way more deaths and injuries

firefighters do a important job...but enough with the hero crap lol

  • @ColdDish1 Thank you! someone with some sense in here.. hollywood does blow it up, yea it's important but so aren't many other jobs are essential to a society and many are more dangerous. Little do people know the number 1 killer of FF's is cardiac arrest from being out of shape, not burning in a fire like hollywood makes it to be. I don't at all see how it's sexy though or how ANY job is sexy other than sex industry jobs. It's just every FF video & profile I see is just caked with the word hero

  • @tbsdrummer87 Girls love young FF's in the gear..Kids love the fire trucks etc The media and hollywood exploits this bigtime lol it is a "sexy" job....ever see girls swoon when a firetruck pulls up ??? That hero stuff is way over the top....They get paid to respond...if you volunteer fine..good for you...that doesn't make you a hero lol

many more people have a more dangerous job over ff's.....but it's not as cool as running into a smoking building etc.

  • @tbsdrummer87 More farmers die in work related accidents compared to FF's.....But farming isn't "Sexy" when was the last time hollywood did a movie on Farming ?? its actually more dangerous...they work with heavy machinery daily and lose limbs and die in accidents..plenty of other occupations that suffer more work related deaths/injuries compared to FF's...farming is crucial...so are power workers and timber workers etc....50% of all work related deaths involve truck drivers

  • @ColdDish1 Many jobs are dangerous if you think about it. There's a higher chance of dieing working as a lumberjack or fisherman. I think the only thing I'd enjoy about being a firefighter would be the pay and getting to hangout and watch tv and play video games and take calendar pictures haha and of course using the big hoses. Someone needs to shine a light on the many other numerous dangerous jobs out there that are never credited

  • @tbsdrummer87 More Garbage Men and Recyclers die in work realted deaths compared to firefighters...They have 37 Deaths for every 100,000 workers....FireFighters 7 Deaths for Every 100,000 workers....Numbers maybe skewed by Volunteer FF's since they don't get paid im guessing when they die it doesn't count towards a work related death..or maybe it does..im not sure

That sad 7 paid FF's die for every 100,000...Not that bad....Timber Industry 116 Deaths per 100,000 workers

  • @tbsdrummer87 Way higher chance of dying being a commercial fisherman...129 deaths per 100,000 workers..it's one of the most dangerous jobs around..Farmers/Ramchers, Roofers, Steel Industry, Aircraft Pilots, Coal Miners, Oil Gas Crew, Timber Industry, Truck Drivers, all more dangerous

Being a FF is actually a good job...i dont see whats so heroic about it.....sure shit happens...but it happens more in other jobs..some that pay less and get zero respect like a roofer or garbage man

  • @ColdDish1 this is for you and tbsdrummer. I don't know if you will ever see it or not. No one here has said that there aren't more dangerous jobs than a fireman. There are its true no surprise there. You are right we get a lot of publicity when we die and yes most die of heart attacks or car accidents. The differance is what we are doing when we die. We are trying to either save a life or save someones possessions. Yes we chose to do it and are trained to do it but we are still risking our

  • lives to save someone we usually have never met. Does that make us a hero? I don't think so. I like watching the tribute videos, it makes me proud to do what I do, however sometimes they go overboard on the hero stuff. I imagine you have never been in a fire or seen half the things I have, and thats fine. You seem to have an opinion on something you know very little about. Now to all the ffs out there that have bashed these two I am embarassed to see that from you.

  • Comment removed

  • @tbsdrummer87 I will say FF's do a important job and im not saying it's a piece of cake...im just saying some of thse tribute videos and such are way over the top

Most FF's I know view what they do as a JOB......Plenty of men and woman respond when called upon in dangerous occupations....they dont view themselves as heroes lol

  • @ColdDish1 that's cuz we arent hero's we do it for the ppl lol

  • I'm a junior, I plan on being a Paramedic, but I hope to be a volunteer firefighter until it either takes my life, or I just get too old for it. Gotta respect people who risk their lives for absolutely nothing.

  • Im a volunteer and I plan on being here for a couple years at least. My ultimate goal is career obviously but I could not ask for better experience. I am having the time of my life and i'm glad I made that decision to go through with it. This is a great job.

  • paid/volley we all fight on the same side.

  • Hey FUCK YOU im a volunteer firefighter and have been for 7 years!!! Buddy i have a life and a real job i volunteer because i want to you fucking ass. It dosent matter if ur a volly or a career firefighter you do this for one reason and one reason only to save lifes!! And let me tell you something u better not show your face arround my department because we would kick your ass!!

  • I want too be one of these guys so bad

  • really guys and gals reading this argument im kinda dissapointed to be honest being a firefighter is not about money being a volly or a paid full timer it doesnt matter we are all supposed to be a brotherhood a family always have eachothers backs and respect eachother arguing like this is stupid we all go out and do our jobs no matter what arguing over this stuff makes it look like were losing sight of what our job is really all about no matter were you go.

  • @truckie2316 I very much agree with what u are saying!,I am a volunteer firfighter in Australia.

firefighters are firefighters, some earn a wage.

  • a volunteer chooses to go in at 3 in the morning after they have worked all day just because they feel its there duty.....and where im from a vfd will be there quicker than a paid department

  • @paidfireman, you obviously have some pent up animosity toward volunteers. My guess is that you either lost your job or were transferred because of the amount of volleys at a station. You see, some folks just want to serve, they don't need to get paid nor do they want to in order to do this job. You probably were a high school dropout who couldn't hack anything else, where we do this on our days off and on our weekends. Nice to know you care. Ass.

  • I agree with the other comments, this is a family where you truly dont belong. And I have no doubt one day you are going to find that out, the hard way.

  • paidfireman let me ask you this. If you were laid off from your career position tomorrow due to budget cuts, what would you do? Your only option if you wanted to continue to fight fire would be to volunteer with the rest of us costume wearing losers. Or is it the reality that you have no passion for the fire service and have no idea what the brotherhood is about.

  • @medlife07 wear that costume with pride!!

  • I could rant, rave, curse and insult like paidfireman. But unlike him, I decided to make the most of my education and earn a degree that would guarantee I would have a job and a resume that would make employers want to hire me. But I still enjoy coming to the aid of my community AND the PAID staff that without us, would not be able to do their jobs nearly as well

  • And like everyone else has said, a majority of the country still cant afford career staff. Roanoke County where I volunteer has built its service to a great level that thrives on having paid staff 24/7. But in this time of economic crisis, administration has openly admitted that it is now having to fall back on its volunteers and depends on them more than the paid staff.

  • Wow, I cant believe that guys attitude. He clearly knows nothing about the fire service. When it started over 100 years ago, it was by VOLUNTEERS who had jobs but still felt called to protect their community when no one else would or could. That jackass wouldnt even have a job if it werent for volunteers starting a service and building it to what it is today. It would still be bucket brigades and horse drawn engines.

  • Good Video. Obviously paidfireman has never been in the situation where the family was sitting down to christmas dinner and the tones blare off. I VOLUNTEER. Got a life, a job, and a family. If I don't volunteer who else will? Ever think that alot of depts. out there can't afford career staff. My dept. can't we volunteer to look out for our comunity. Trust me paid you couldn't hack it here.

  • paidfireman i volunteer for a reason, because i love doing this and i dont need to be paid to protect my communitee, if i were offered a paid position i would turn it down, its about the passion not the money, and appairently you dont understand that

  • @AKwarrior54 It sure is a labour of love!, here in Australia what I enjoy is kick'n back with with a cold

beer back at the shed with rest of the crew after long

    day of backburning.

  • paidfiremen ur a fuck jack ass if ur even a fireifghter ur probaly one of the ones who sits on his his all day like brazil city you couldnt cut it as a volunteer and i promise u that espically at my station

  • @paidfireman ur a stupid mother fucker u now that. we have jobs and we have lives. we volunteer to protect our communites from fire.. just because u get paid to sit at the station and jack off when ur not on a run dont mean ur any better than us volunteers we trian harder than full time just because we dont do it every day so fuck u ass hole

  • Wow u guys havent been around long

  • Wow a good video... Was that like a fatal accident in the paraglider thingy? Great video, some other things to consider I know this an old movie but the first run you could have filmed from a different view. And the last fire why did it look like you were approaching so slow did you slow the video down or something or is it just me? it just looks like the truck was going slow. nice video all in all. you got my 5 stars.

P.S. where is Posey County/Marrs Twp.???

  • thats not necessary. I am a career firefighter in a neighboring area and volunteer because I care about my community. Obviously you have no respect for what matters and are in this field for the wrong reason. Remember why you got into firefighting? Prolly the money... your not welcome here

  • @fire9x38 haha what money in firefighting? Price can't cover what I love!

  • @fire9x38 He probably is not a real firefighter anyways.. Ignorant piece of shit would not last. Stay up brother great video.

  • @fire9x38 You make money doing this? Shiiiit where do you work? I get about 60 bucks a month unless we get lucky and have a hot run

  • @fire9x38 the money? more like the benefits cause where i live, the money is not that great

  • @fire9x38 you're*

  • @unger520 funny, 75% of American firefighters are volunteer. I don't see 75% of the country not standing anymore, obviously we're pretty good at what we do.

  • @unger520 lol dont do anything in firefighting

  • you dont have a clue you dumbshit

  • @unger520 i would like to see u do wut we do? u have no respect

  • @unger520 ur a dick i really hope u live ina volunteer area i love being a volunteer it makes me know im in this busy for the right reasons not a patcheck which isnt much anyway

  • @unger520

Ur such a prick. At least we can spell, dumb ass. It's "their" not "there."

  • @unger520 lol that's funny that you would say that....it would be a travesty if your house were the one that burned down while the firefighters watched on like the man in Tennessee....but you would be bold enough to say something like that because it's just the internet

  • i just dont understand buffs...lol

  • Great video, I'm Volunteer at one of my counties Fire-Rescue Stations, I started out young because I had family that was in it, so I was always around Fire-Rescue. I however just joined last year, when I was 15 for our Jr. Program, and actually got my first structure fire ride along the other day... Stay Safe!

  • :33 a Pemfab?

  • hey guys i am also a volunteer but only i do it in south australia except we have to be 16 to go to call outs we have cadet's that can join at 12 but can only train keep up the good work and take care of your selves thoose fire's are nasty

  • goodonya mate!!

  • you young kids have fun but be safe ok?

  • wait a sec...ur 14 and ur dept lets you be interior? if so thats a serious liability...but please correct me cuz I volunteer in liverpool ny...its just 2 mins north of syracuse and you can join at 14 but you must be a explorer then junior when you turn 16 but keep up the good work and good vid...btw how many calls do you run a year?

  • i dont see where he said he is interior just that he picked up an application and hes turning 14...NO company or dept. will let a 14 year old do interior not even overhaul..he can how ever join as a junior. and when he turnes 16 take essentials and depending on the dept..maybe do overhaul...good luck and be safe Tman

  • im going to take essentials this spring the fire company requires it i can get the first 3 modules and the 4th when im 18

  • good luck and be safe

  • I got my application yesterday 14 days till i turn 14
