Solidid ste drives are inherently famous for Data integrity because they have no moving parts and are not susceptible to vibration which would make them perfect for data acquisition in your Jet Car. Two things:

First you don't have to put the @ to respond! Youtube is NOT twitter

Second is freedom of speech. I can talk as long or as short of a time i want and you can talk as long and as short of a time you want. The ssd cost so much to make with today's technology. It is impossable to make a profit with it cheaper.

They will obviously get cheaper as they are mass produced. Because the profits per item are made up in volume covering the initial investment. Second is the economics thing. To make SSD at such a mass scale to make them as cheap as HDD would be impossable. You would need to built millions upon millions of these item that only the top nerds want.

They wont be cheaper until there is an ample supply. In fact I have read that Intel plans to ramp up production to do just that.
