no offensive, but all these comments about race and whatnot, you people judge too harshly. I saw the movie, it was so so, but I think some of the actors did fit the characters. I thought Zuko was fine, Uncle was fine, Aang would be better with pratice, Sokka wasn't bad, and Katara needed some work. The race thing never bothered me because I'm not close minded.

Okay first off the cast is pathetic. Zuko looks nothing like the cartoon. And by the way, this is Book 1, Water. Toph does not show up until Book 2, Earth, for your information.

He's not. I, personally, think the only ones that fit are Sokka and Katara. Aang is much to you, and the one playing Zuko isn't mexian, he's muslim. He played in slumdog millimoar. Yuck:( Not at ALL how I pictured him. Another wonderful book/series ruined by a crudy director and caster.
Katara along with the Water Tribes-people aren't black, they resemble more of the Inuit people from the real world. Expect with the lovely blue eyes of course.
i imagined the fire nation people to be asian, the water to be inuit/east asian, and the earth and air to be caucasian/east european ...so far Zuko id the only one close to being realistic, and Aang looks very much out of character!

@jcray214 It's Jackson Rathbone and Jesse Mcartney was supposed to be Zuko but he couldn't do it because of his concert schedule so the went for the next best and picked Dev Patel for the award winning Slumdog Millionaire

I love the Nickaloedon sereris i watch it all the time with my girlfriend! But i do think a differnt director would have been a better choice! He's not. I, personally, think the only ones that fit are Sokka and Katara. Aang is much to you, and the one playing Zuko isn't mexian, he's muslim. He played in slumdog millimoar. Yuck:( Not at ALL how I pictured him. Another wonderful book/series ruined by a crudy director and caster.

i imagined the fire nation people to be asian, the water to be inuit/east asian, and the earth and air to be caucasian/east european ...so far Zuko id the only one close to being realistic, and Aang looks very much out of character!

What the heck these guys don't even look like the original characters from the show. Shouldn't katara and sokka be a little i don't know brown lol. MYKIMOTO is right they should have made the characters exactly how they were in the cartoon. The guy playing Aang is alright and i guess the character playing zuko is ok to but i think that they should change the characters for sokka and katara.
