  • Very good! I loved it.

  • Congratulations

    it's very good

  • WHOA I WAS JUST SEARCHING THIS RANDOMLYY XD

  • niiiice

  • Woah. I love this song. How long do you have to be playing for to learn such a song? I've been playing for a good many years.

  • for some reason this reminds me of pirates of the caribean

  • You're interpretation is amazing!! Now just recorded in a studio on a Kawaii or a Steinway and you have the best recording ever!!

  • In my opinion, this is the best interpretation on YouTube. You don't over exaggerate things, and you still keep it beautiful. 5/5

  • Well, you've learned the text but you didn't play out any "lines". Listen to Lugansky's version, maybe you understand what i mean. Otherwise, good job, I'm playing it too

  • wow very great ! this etude is just beautiful (:

  • it's so great !!

  • Una muy buena interpretacion.

  • Muy bien, de las mejores intepretacion que he escuchado.

  • I have a gosebump when I hear it, it is the best rachmaninoff piece I ' ve ever heard:) what do you think??

  • Love it

  • Great job! i'm learning this song now and some of those stretches are a killer.

  • This piece is so indescribeably awesome. <3

  • really really awesome you've played it very nicely

  • circus galops more insane

  • @theketchupboy not even for human piano lol.......

  • Bravooo!

  • Thanks! I really love this piece and you play very well : )

  • your hands are right placed and you play it very nice! love this piece.

  • ♫ ♥ ♫ Great performance! ♫ ♥ ♫

  • Why don't you get your pianos tuned before recording? It didn't matter so much for Alkan, but this piece needs sumptuous harmonic precision. Spitty, cos it's quite well plo with good feeling.............

  • Upon buying the complete book of Tableaux Etudes, I discovered that this particular etude had been removed from my edition. Whats up with that?! :@

    Great performance tho ;)

  • Great performance!

  • Tune the Piano Pleaeaeaeaeazzzzzzz !!!

  • I recently heard this piece at a piano recital and fell in love with it. I was glad to find people playing it on youtube because I can't read sheet music. Would you be willing to make a video tutorial for the song, or at least show each hand playing slowly from a good angle so I can see the notes being played? I assure you the tutorial wouldn't be lost on me, I've been playing for a few years and have been able to play all but the most difficult of songs; I look forward to learning this one.

  • it'd be a whole lot easier for you to learn sheet music. Your method sounds VERY time consuming.

  • Isaac, you're an AMAZING pianist, GREAT job with this masterpiece...

  • lovely

  • I think this is one of the best interprerations on youtube. Most people play to loud. Rachmaninov often wrote "piano" !!!!!

  • Yeéeaa your are the must fabulous and rachmoninof is ....... PERFECT (l)

  • Yeah!!

  • An excelent performance!

  • Rachmaninoff wrote this piece in one day. (Same for a couple of the other etudes-tableaux).

  • Very nice.

I love this etude. It's very russian.

I would like to play it someday.

  • good job. aside from a few problems here and there it was overall pretty good. this piece is tremendously difficult to play, despite sounding only moderately challenging. bringing out the countermelodies is especially hard, and i could tell that you tried your very best at doing so. and also props on that middle section (with the huge and extremely wide left hand chords), you played that part pretty smoothly. although you should be careful about the rhythm in m.25, you skipped an entire 8th beat

  • Rachmaninoff is the best!

  • Bravo!

    One of my favourite pieces.

  • The left hand looks like it is almost hitting random notes. I love this song though. I like how the melody transfers from soft to crashy.

  • Can anyone tell me a good song that sounds like Rachmaninov's Etude-Tableaux Op.33 No.4 (this one) and Etude-Tableaux Op.39 No.8 that's good for a level 5-7 player? (Late Intermediate player?)

  • I love the part 0:50 and the minute 2:46 Love Chopin and Rachmaninov

  • God, this thing is so hard. Nice work!

  • perfectooo!! que pasada este estudio es geniaal!

  • Superb job on the piece.

  • Have any tips for someone learning this piece? I'm about a page and a half through, but I'm having a little trouble in measures 12 and 13. :D

  • Practice.

  • Drill it. Over and over and over again till you've got it. Then do it some more.

  • nice so nice

  • Love this piece, i might learn it.

  • is this hard to learn?

  • very

  • Very well played!

  • Rarely heard, this should be heard more frequently. Maybe Isaac will learn the whole set and play it for us. Nicely done.

  • How I've never heard this one before? Should be more famous in my opinion. Thank you for posting!

  • Excellent-o job man!

I clicked to give you 5 stars, but my wireless mouse is gay and I clicked 4 accidentally....

I gave you thumbs up on all the other things to make up for it!!!!

  • This is such a nice recording. A pleasure to listen to.

  • You should listen the John Ogdon version

  • Honestly,I think this guy DEVOURS the Ogdon version.

  • This is 100% beautiful!

  • Oh, I love this, never heard it before, I'm ashamed. xD. How difficult is this piece?

  • It's Rachmaninoff.

  • I know that, I just wanna know how difficult it is

  • it's rachmaninoff. nuff said
