Not picking on you... but be careful allowing your turtle and bird to interact. Turtles carry a lot of bacteria that can be harmful to birds. Also, like you said, you can't predict the future, but ....duh, why would you let your bird near your turtle when he's that close to the edge? And the trash can was right there for him to safely fall into? lame.

I'm beginning to think this was an accident, that the bird was trying to get on top of the turtle and the turtle accidentally slipped off due to it's shell and from being too close to the table edge. From my experience with up with lovebirds, when they want to knock something off they use their beak like a bulldozer, assuming its too heavy to pick their mouth.

Its pretty obvious from how it was filmed those posting the video were expecting it. don't see why it really matters all that much if it was on purpose. The turtle was fine. My brother's two turtles excaped when he was cleaning the cage and fell off the second story balcony and they were fine.

Its not like it would hurt the turtle. Its shell would protect it anyway. My brother's was cleaning his turtles' cage and they got out of the bucket and managed to fall off the balcony to the first floor but were unharmed.

@ofthewolf I'm just suspicious because: a. he didn't immediately run over to see if the turtle was ok (that was a pretty big drop for a turtle his size) and b. he then put the turtle right back up on the ledge. It's not 100% clear if he set this up on purpose (I think he did), but it is 100% clear he's a dumbass irresponsible owner.
