  • kinda rude those AGT judges saying without us you wouldn't be anywhere- Not true!

  • ive seen this video 100 times and it never ceases to amaze me and send chills down mt spine. way to go jackie

  • what a beautiful young soul. I hope she always stays this true.

  • She's so adorable. I love you Jackie. You are amazing

  • Great Voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • I just love her and really wish the best ever for her.

  • What's with that crappy stage?

  • from 2:33 to 2;09 are the cutest seconds ever

  • just how mentally disturbed do you have to be to not fall in love with this young lady.the 4 dislikes must be a mistake.

  • Everyone else can retire now.

  • She is so adorable.

  • First thing howe says. If it wasn't for our show, you wouldn't be on city tv. Says who?

  • Amazing... I can feel her nervousness as a child before the song starts,

but eventually.. She nailed it.. AW--STRUCT!

There's definitely something divine inside her.. hehe

  • When, as here, she is addressed and treated as if she's 6, Jackie responds like a young child, giggly and unsure. When a hostess addresses her in an adult manner, she responds accordingly - very mature, declarative, confident, precise and factual. It's usually female interviewers who speak almost babytalk, while male hosts do much better. I think she prefers the males. Just my two cents.

  • Her reaction to Morgan's clip is Uber crazy adorable And when the host says "your pretty good on you're own" so sweet

  • Name any other singer that can just get up and start singing like Jackie without lip syncing to their own record. None I know of, help me out. Jackie is the living album of her songs and never forgets one word of any song. She knows just when to start singing with the music. She knows if there is one note off from the band, she showed that on J Leno when the piano player missed one.

  • @jofjonesboro I get the distinct feeling the hostess has never been around children. She speaks to an 11 year old like she's five. And the 11 year old handles it with the poise and demeanor of a 30 year old showing her mercy.

    .

  • there are some really beautiful Celtic Songs I would love to hear her sing.

  • @wishbone103 Name the songs... I believe there are so many gorgeous Celtic songs to choose from... (BTW, Thanks for posting this, I'm gonna look through some of those songs that I know of right now!)

  • @zkey333 If you like Celtic I think you will appreciate this piece played on guitar. Search for NIEL GOW"S LAMENT: CELTIC GUITAR played by Cyrloud. Enjoy.....sounds beautiful.

  • @jofjonesboro , no! you are wrong! you should also enjoy her communication. It is so pleasant to hear Jackie talks. Her demeanor is so decent and good.

  • nice,,,,

  • Worst background for the best singer, ever.

  • Jackie again give a great performance. She puts her hole heart and soul

into each song. Just a beautiful child. who is that sneaky guy out side

with the phone. Can we trust him.

  • This is one of my favourite songs sung by one of my favourite artists.... Jackie is just awesome..... beautiful little girl with a powerful voice....

  • beyond adorable!

  • *sigh* I hate to say it but I like this song soooo much better when Jackie sings it then when Sarah McLachlan sings it.

  • No, no, no! It didn't start with America's Got Talent! It started with YOUTUBE! :)

We youtubers knew she was the best ever well over a year before she was discovered by AGT! :)

  • damn lady... slow down, ask one question, let her answer... SLOW DOWN!

  • Wow, excellent quality video. JE is such a professional, even at age 11. Her performances are spot on every time. She does not slack off at all.

For those querying/commenting, the host is Dina Pugliese and the show is the daily Breakfast Television show on CityTV in Toronto (you can web search it), the most watched morning program in the city. She and Kevin, and Jennifer and Frank have had a well-regarded, laid-back gig going for years and years now.

  • I'm from way down south of texas, far away from canada, but that Canadian Lady who interviewed Jackie Evancho is very alive and bubbly. Since I have not seen any Canadian telecasts before this, I am just hoping that she does that every morning to wake Canadian people up everymorning. No wonder, Canadians are happy people. Ohh... but most of all I Love Jackie Evancho.

  • @MrWarbeast Canadians are big fans of Jackie; some say she is America's little angel, but we think she belongs to the whole world. One small girl from Pittsburgh has brought joy to millions the world over; Jackie is truly blessed by God and a blessing of God's to us all.

  • I think God lost an angel and we found her :)

  • Jackie is the personification of beauty - vocally, physically, and spiritually. To know her is to love her.

  • She's such an amazing girl! Give me goosebumps all the time. Plus, she has this thing when she sings that just lifts my spirit up! Keep it up lovely! :)

  • one lucky girl

  • I love the feeling she brings to my soul, if I had a rough day a hand full of Jackies video, and I'm good as rain. BLESS YOU JACKIE!!!

  • News hostess: "You're so amazing, you're bringing me to tears."

That about sums up what the entire world feels when seeing and hearing her sing, regardless of any language difference. The purity of that sound is really astounding. She might be the best singer ever if she's careful to take it easy and not push too hard the developing voice. She just needs more range, and that will come with time.

I feel lucky to live at the same time as Wayne Gretzky and Jackie, pinnacles of human endeavor

  • Jackie Evancho; what's not to love?!

  • A cute little girl who transforms into a superstar singer with voice extra ordinaire and then as the song ends she comes back as the sweet little girl that she is..The transformation is magical..

  • You make me wanna buy Tropicana OJ and Maxwell House coffee! Interviewer did a terriffic job here too!!!!

  • Love Jackie!

I am also 10 years old and LOVE singing.

Please have listen to me singing.

    Thank-you.

    Katie.

  • She is just pure delight, and lights up any room she walks in.

  • @bparno Not only lights up, the light stays on a long time after she's gone.

  • @wojciechzby You said it!

  • It is amazing how Jackie transforms from a sweet little child to an angelic performer when she starts to sing.

  • @altavivo It's a clear case of angelic possession!

  • @KaptKan1 I like that KaptKan..A case of "Angelic Possession" :) and in Jackie's case I hope there isn't a cure for it :)

  • @stktrader1I I first started saying that last year during Jackie's AGT performances; many people noticed and commented on the change that comes over Jackie when she sings, and how she "comes out of" her singing state at the end of each tune. It's spooky, LOL. I almost wonder if an angel in fact does not join her in her performances; it's uncanny how the little tyke transports herself -- and us, her listeners -- to another, better place whenever she sings.

  • @KaptKan1 She says she gets "possessed" by the music. I can believe that. The change that comes over her is certainly real we can all see it.

BTW it's not you all it's yall. I'm from the Southern United States so I know how that contraction is pronounced. :)

  • @dieseldog00 And they tell me that the plural of y'all is "all y'all".

Well, dog mah cats! ; )

  • @KaptKan1 lol

  • @KaptKan1 You said -- "I almost wonder if an angel in fact does not join her in her performances; it's uncanny how the little tyke transports herself --". I suppose I can offer what Jackie herself said in response to a query on how she prepares right before a performance. She said she says a quick prayer and asks God to come with her and to sing with her. Now, atheists may not tune into that answer, but it is Jackie's honest one, and it certainly rings true to me.

  • @innismor11 And every performance proves that Jackie's explanation is the only one which can explain the phenomenon that is the voice of Jackie Evancho1

  • @altavivo and instantly goes back to being a child afterwards!

  • got the chills all over again just like watching that morning....wow is all I can say! amazing!

  • got the chills all over again just like watching that morning....wow is all I can say! amazing!

  • When Jackie is around, Canada is not boring anymore, lol. I kid, I kid. I love Canada, especially Toronto.

  • she's kind of unbelivably adorable. and there's a creeper outside the window! ...& I agree, I'm glad the host didn't make Jackie tell her "start" story again. thanks for the upload! ...oh, also it never ceases to be entertaining to hear Canadians say "about" and "house." haha not judging negatively... just entertaining.

  • @camycamo4 we say "about" the right way. The rest of the world says it wrong! :))

  • @kdr65 @camycam04 You both are correct! Usage of language in right way can be defined in different ways and language is always changing! BTW I love Canadian accents; When I heard it first, I couldn't figure it out which region, I thought maybe Aussie or NZ.

  • @camycamo4 We get amused at hearing you say "huh" and "y'all", so it all comes even in the end, LOL.

And we thank you-all for giving the world Pittsburgh's little Jackie Evancho!!!

  • @camycamo4 We don't get offended; you have no idea how much we are amused by "you all", too! Everyone has an accent, and it's a source of material for comedians because we are so amused by differences of accent and dialect.

  • @camycamo4 It's okay; we are just amused at hearing Americans say those same words!

  • @camycamo4 I"m glad I read your comment first, as it expresses exactly what I intended to say, especially about the host interview, best interview yet. We all know Jackie is a doll with an amazing gift, and for once she didn't have to answer the same old questions.

  • @camycamo4 Jackie of course was charming and professional as always. The interviewer was too herky jerky or something, nervous maybe?... And the creepy guy lurking around in the background was distracting... The view from these windows in this studio do not work like the New York shows. Still, yet another spotlight for the jewel from Pennsylvania to shine...

  • also, thank you thank you thank you dina for not asking the "when did you start singing?"

  • *Little Diva Jackie*

  • her face when she thought piers was there, priceless!
