everything about this vid is awesome except the fat ass cameraman is blocking the light and breathing into the mic on the camera @ the beginning. obviously i'm just joking... great vid guys. one tip: next time just spring for a profesional informational vid next time. we like those. by we i mean customers... ppl with monies. :)
@JacobCain86 Thanks Jacob. What is it about so many people crying about the quality of the production? Ok, I get that its not a big budget production, but this is a free public service and we didn't have to do anything at all? Im a voice coach and Sean is a singer, we are not people that walk around with thousands of dollars of video production gear. Personally, I think the production is just fine and don't really "get it"? Whats important is that you learn something from it about Tc-Helicon.
Does anyone have good ideas what to use to get good results with acoustic instruments like accordion, saxphone etc, TC-Helicon VoiceLive 2 or what ? Thanks in advance.
This is for everyone trying to compare cheaper pedals that claim to function the same YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Period. If you want the best look no further!
Can you tell me please the difference between the TC Helicon Vocalive 2 to the Digitech Vocalist Live 4? I intend to buy some live vocal processor, but I have many doubts. What between them is better? Thanks.
@edielameu The Digitech cost less for less product. You have about 100 pre-sets which can be minimally altered. However, if you just want fun harmonies, go cheaper. The setting controls are faster as they are fewer. Personally the sound quality is less as well, but not noticeable in a live setting. I use the Digitech for some specific tones that the VL2 can't emulate and use as a second mic harmony, but use the VL2 about 95% of the time, otherwise. Can't list all the differences here.
I just bought the Voice Live2 I recieved it a couple of days ago and tried it out at our band rehearsal last night. If you can afford one or talk the band into buying one with the money from one of the gigs. Then get one. I never did like vocal harmonisers until I heard this one. To get the T-Pain effect use preset 4 and tweak a few knobs. Mwana
How's the effects on Guitar? Is the casing made of cast metal? knobs are solid not flimsy plastic? I looking to replace my Digitech VocalLive 4 with this unit :D
bought it recently well worth every last dollar, over 200 presets of absolutely magnificent settings even one that makes your voice sound like your 10 years old (kind of creepy at first)
How do you mean? Is it a pitch shift effect or something? Is there a preset that sounds convincing as a falsetto/octave up effect? The Digitech Vocalist unit just sounded a bit too digital and thin with the octave up effect.
Thanks for this - just some constructive criticism - the resolution is'nt clear for the LED readout on the demo. It would would also be helpful to do this as though you are just opening the box and switching it on for the first time showing how to get it to optimise your voice - I had this unit set up through a pa on my back lawn and some presets sounded like I had a Gopsel choir in my garden!
I need this for my next gig!

Digitech sucks, thats the difference. They're build quality is so shitty.

I just hope acoustic guitar section is excellent also. No review about it. Great video. Tone button seems flawless. Cheer ! Mine is already ordered.
