Getting film news through a show like this is fun because we trust the Ryan and the rest of the members who produce the show to aggregate information that is given in an entertaining and thoughtful way. With this information they produce opinions and a narrative, (or if you will a semantic waves of shared meaning). You get to know where you agree or disagree with the host and are better equipped to watch movies!

@BesottedlyDialecticl in other words it's because it's fun, and informative. As the film riot and film state branches grow we can watch out the windows of our internet community housing. Watching the branches and the whole tree grow which is beset in the jungle of the interwebs allows for more enjoyably informed awareness of the wholes and parts of film. If you don't like it then you wouldn't already be here, watching, posting and probably subscribed. Admit it you like it. :| think about it.

Mission Impossible is an amazing movie. Honestly, it's the only good mission impossible movie... so far. The reason i didn't like MI2 and MI3 (even thought MI3 was directed by J.J.Abrams and was very well done) those two movies really went away from what the first one was and went almost completely in the opposite direction of the show!... and sadly MI4 looks no different :( What do you think Ryan?

I think zombie apocalypse is fine. If you watch a lot of zombie movies, you will notice that there aren't many happy people in them. (Except that one guy who likes guns WAY too much, but that guy always dies.) (Except in Zombieland, but that was a comedy so it doesn't count.)

The original theme was in 5/4 time and it lost a sense of urgency when Elfman took it to 4/4.

I was wondering why Footloose wasn't given a Zombie Apocalypse. Given the choices, I like "Bleeding from the Eyes." That being said, I'd like to see "Ludovico Technique" as an option, you know, from A Clockwork Orange where they strapped him down, pinned his eyes open, injected him with sickening drugs, and forced him to watch it. It seems to carry the feeling of "lowest rating possible" because that's the only way I'd watch the new Footloose movie.

I have never mission impossible, I am not a big fan of tom cruise (Please dont be hatin') But I do think he was great in top gun I am just not that big a fan. I may very well watch it at some stage but i cannot see myself bying it at all in the near sigted future. Maybe it will be on sky movies (Irish / English movie tv channel). 1. Watched Mission Impossible, more than once. Jean Reno, although small part, is also a good actor I think, I like to watch stuff he is in as well.
