@97sevans just something they tried out and stuck with. I think rich was having sonic issues hearing the bass. Steve talked about it on his podcast a while back.

That was awesome. I was 5th row for that. Couldn't believe how fast he got onto the stage. That was the most win frontman moment I've ever witnessed. Great show. Robisnon hitting the dude with a mike stand was icing on the cake.
