So many fights broke out at this concert. Mick said on stage he would call of the concert if the Hells Angels didn't stop all the violence. He wished he'd never hired them. Obvious in the video he is looking for some kind of evidence as to what really happened. Part of this video is cut out. I ran it through different filters on video editing software and broke it down into frames.

In the book "Hells Angels" it speaks of one of them who "resented the pairing" meaning Meredith with a white woman, so he proceeded to separate the two. I took a look at the video. I see a gun when freeze framing the video in full screen but what the guy who was killed looks like a shadow of gun against the dress. But the guy looking towards him has his hand more clearly in a gun holding position aimed at the guy who was killed. Looks like the shadow of 2 guns by 2 different people. So why where the guns not found?

To be fair, check out the wiki page on the festival and the incident. They claim that the gun could be a 'grain in the footage', but its clearly a revolver and you can see him trying to aim it. .
Its also worded in a way that makes the Hells Angels response seem unprovoked.

i believe that he had a gun. but this was not the only time the Hells Angels were involved in trouble during Altamont. there is videos of them beating an innocent man with pool cues. Also during the Jefferson Aeroplane gig they knocked out the lead singer causing the concert to be stopped until he could be resusitated. Im not here to rip on the Angels. just thought it is something to note. they wer not completely innocent.
Here's my breakdown.....jagger hired on a gang to do his security, payed them with alcohol which they drank while they "kept the area secure". Throughout the day they harassed and beat on random people in the crowd....who maybe did deserve it, but some, maybe not. This negative vibe obviously fueled the drug induced crowd and moods began to shift. The dust settles, people are beaten down with pool cues and chains, an actual performer is knocked out, and a guy gets stabbed and killed. GJ H.A's!

The Stones decision to fire the H.A.s from future concerts was done in the best interest of all "minorities" as well as themselves. No doubt, other blacks have attended Rolling Stones future concerts following Altamont, with a white woman. Many of them, perhaps armed. With no racist biker mentalities to cause division, there was no more deaths of that nature. The H.A.s at Altamont is likened to a firefighter who commits arson, then puts out the flame he started, in order to look good.

So many fights broke out at this concert. Mick said on stage he would call of the concert if the Hells Angels didn't stop all the violence. He wished he'd never hired them. Obvious in the video he is looking for some kind of evidence as to what really happened. Part of this video is cut out. I ran it through different filters on video editing software and broke it down into frames.

In the book "Hells Angels" it speaks of one of them who "resented the pairing" meaning Meredith with a white woman, so he proceeded to separate the two. They weren't there to beat up innocent people for the sake of it. Meredith (the victim) had already tried to get on stage with the band earlier but got pushed back which angered him to the point that he wanted to kill Jagger with a gun. Ultimately it was his own fault due to the meth he was on.

To be fair, check out the wiki page on the festival and the incident. They claim that the gun could be a 'grain in the footage', but its clearly a revolver and you can see him trying to aim it. .
Its also worded in a way that makes the Hells Angels response seem unprovoked.
I think Mick should be forgiven by the Angels though. It would have been easier for them to walk off into a chopper and leave the Angels to deal with a full scale riot. The real murderer is the misinformation about drugs.

Here's my breakdown.....jagger hired on a gang to do his security, payed them with alcohol which they drank while they "kept the area secure". Throughout the day they harassed and beat on random people in the crowd....who maybe did deserve it, but some, maybe not. This negative vibe obviously fueled the drug induced crowd and moods began to shift. The dust settles, people are beaten down with pool cues and chains, an actual performer is knocked out, and a guy gets stabbed and killed. GJ H.A's!
