I'd think that MSU might not want to dwell too long on its tri-championship, and refocus its efforts in recruiting. They've enjoyed some success against Michigan recently, and they've done so fair and square. But, like the rabbit and the turtle, they better not look back. The Wolverines are gaining quickly.

It's good to see all the redneck UM fans crowing about history - seeing as that's all you'll ever have. Here, in what we like to call the present, MSU is looking to defend its Big Ten championship, something UM hasn't won since 2004 for football and since 1986 for basketball. Hell, since 2010 MSU has won a BT championship in football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and at least five more - you know, sports people actually care about. At least you have softball... oh wait.

Lol. The first 20 some games were played in AA. Michigan, who claims to be the winningst program counts wins against AA high school, and regional medical/dental schools from 100 years ago. Since 1950 MSU has 6 NC's to UM's 1.

@Cuchulainn131 uh, all of the winningest programs have been playing since before1900...alabama, texas, ohio state, oklahoma, notre dame. the funny thing is that msu started before 1900 too yet they're behind michigan over 250 wins. you have some catching up to do...

oh and funny how msu claims all these national championships yet for two or three of those they didn't even win the conference that year.
