  • @jalobeaulieu1: the gold used in making Landstroms Black Hills Gold jewelry is bought on the open market, just like any gold. Not to be insensitive whatsoever, just accurate.

  • my people died for that gold.

  • We love it, too!

  • I love black hills gold. It's so lovely :D

  • I liked the video. It is really cool to see how everything is made.

  • pure gold is actually 32k

  • Thanks for the post... I would like to hear more about 32K gold (?); but since the 15th century, pure gold has been 24 karat

    from Merriam Webster: kar·at

: a unit of fineness for gold equal to 1⁄24 part of pure gold in an alloy

    Variant(s): or car·at \ˈker-ət, ˈka-rət\

    Function: noun

    Etymology: Middle English carrat

    Date: 15th century

  • @mamato56 I'm slightly dyslexic and one time while talking about gold I accidentally said 42k gold. Hahaha. It was right in my head but my mouth flipped it around. :D

  • This was very interesting watching the process and the final products looked beautiful.
