The effects are only shit, because Connery was paid £2 million to return to Bond and that drained a lot of money from the filmmakers so they couldn't put a lot of money to have great special effects and they wouldn't of even looked better this being made in 1971. So just shut the fuck up, stop nitpicking and enjoy this damn good film.

Lol ok so the satellite isnt even at the right angle but some how shoots at a painting of earth which makes obviously a bunch of matte missile flare red despite using white crystals and a yellow sun which makes a explosion even though the missiles are clearly still there and you can even look in the scene where the guard covers his ears and if you look in the back you can still see the heated missile......ok?

There were better special effects in Dr No and From Russia with love... well, in any previous Bond movie actually ... Connery's salary was the heaviest he received for having worked on any Bond feature, I guess it explains partly why this movie got the cheasiest special effects in the whole series ...

This scene makes me laugh every time, this whole movie is one of my favorites because of campy scenes like this. Most of the cheesy parts in this movie involve chinese guys, like the scene in the intro "Ca Ca Cairo!".
