Does anyone know a place online to buy this movie? I have been looking everywhere for it and have had no luck. Please inbox me a message if you know. Thanks so much! :D
Jane in "Red & Black".........guess they thought that one up when Howard Hughes was hanging out at Bohemian Grove with his buddies from the RAND corporation......I always loved this film....as well as Bob Hope......
Presidents come and go…….but Henry Kissinger and Bob Hope remain...
Thanks for the memories! As a kid growing up in the 80's I loved watching this movie. Jane Russell was glamours hollywood and Bob Hope was a special talent. I remembering day dreaming that I was Bob Hopes character since he got the beautiful girl.
So sad to hear this news today. I just bought Gentlemen Prefer Blonds the other day & loved it. First time I ever saw it. I love Marilyn but I have to say that Jane was the true star in that movie. And I have to say that Gentlemen all over the world prefer brunettes today. What a gorgeous woman! She was a real dame.
Great performance. Jane Russell could sing, dance, act and do it all so effortlessly like breathing. So beautiful too. God Bless and Farewell Jane. We'll always remember you.
I'm not a real Bob Hope fan though I appreciate him more today. I wanted to see the movie, just because Roy Rogers and Trigger were in it. Of course, I was only eight years old. But, Jane Russell? Yip-ta-hootie! Now, isn't it amazing, we all enjoyed ourselves; no swearing, nudity, or toilet humor? Lady Jane was sexy, and all she showed was her bare feet! And, as for Bob Hope? He was so funny, and he didn't need bad words, or, toilet humor!
Totally agreed with AnoukaKC, Jane Russell was a timeless beauty and she puts current so-called screen beauties to shame. And remember, she was beautiful in an age when there was no such thing as botox and silicone injections into the human body.
Although always remembered for her great beauty, Russell was actually a very good comedian with great timing and a great singer as well. She worked very well with Bob Hope as a partner.

My younger brother and I grew up in the late 40's and 50's and we thought
there was no other girl nearly so gorgeous as Jane Russell.
To us she will always be: "The Girl Who Tamed The West With Her Tits".
R.I.P. Jane - you were one great classy "full figure" lady!

good god... she's basically covered up (for now) and she's hotter than 99.9 percent of the dental floss bikini wearing celebusluts out there.
gorgeous swimsuit and gorgeous hat! don't like the vaseline on the camera, and don't think it was necessary, oh well.
nice song.
