the most effective, and sadly smelly way to rid yourself of rats/mice is go to home depot and get poison... thats it... after they eat it they die... solved my problem and i never used these traps again. theyre inefective. U can expect flys in ur attic or cieling a few days/weeks after they die.. but after that fuck it all theyre gone for good! fuck rats and mice. btw that rat we cuaght that bled out was still alive squirting blood and deases all over the damn place moving slow until it diedGROS
