pay the same amount for a MacBook Pro as for a Tablet PC, yet you get a fully functional notebook with the same (or in many cases better) specs and you also have handwriting recognition. plus it runs 1000's more apps.
here's a laugh: i priced out a MacBook Pro system and for a comparison, a Dell with with nearly identical specs (except for OS, and bundled apps of course), and with a 3-year warranty.
the MacBook was $950 MORE!!!
I SH!T YOU NOT!
plus i build custom notebooks for a living, and they even cost $200 less than Dell FOR THE EXACT SAME THING (with a 3 year warranty included)!!!
hello floozy... thinking about buying the new imac, which would be my first mac, but want to know, as i know no of no one else who uses a mac and can thus answer my question, is if you can still download torrent files and burn them to dvd? thank you, or any, for that matter, anyone else who can help with this...
you sure cab nubbs, i havent done it yet personally, but ive read about a whole series of apps that do jus that, in fact id wager that its far easier, just cause theres so many video and dvd friendly apps on the mac
thanks. bought the 20 this saturday actually. have to admit it takes a little getting used to, but i suspect it will be worth it (and, from my perspective, the rather daunting cost)
Awesome, I enjoy my iMac and never even thought of using a PC ever again (that is until my sister's computer crashes and I have to fix it lol). I got my iMac with the Core 2 Duo processor when it came out and it is AWESOME!
I am a mac users and I just purchased a Motorola Q for a phone. Don't even consider it. Battery life is the main issue. Wait for the Iphone from Apple.
Just got a 20" iMac Intel Core 2 Duo on thursday and I'm thrilled. I'd like to say that parallels is a piece of crap. I used it for a day, it would speed up and slow down and not run anything properly. Sure, it was fast, but not up to Core Duo potential. It doesn't run CD's such as Half-Life or whatever, no 3D or copy-protected CD's so no games or programs that run straight from CD. Got boot camp, everything is perfect.
When we Can see another video of your experience with MAc . I really like to watch your video . Please post another video ....

That's actually funny. One of the biggest reasons of me switching is going to be because of style (imac)
2Shae88 5 years ago
well its definately a style choice i suppose, but theres more in that magic box than just style
