  • Giorgio Gomelsky handled this artist, he of Rolling Stones and Yardbirds management previously. I have this 45, and like it a lot - the stop-go vocal style on it was quite cool, innovative like "m-m-my g-g-g-generation" was in its' time.

    As we know, it didn't help this single anyway, because lack of airplay destined too many great records to obscurity. The other Stones connection by the way, was that The Australian Playboys were on the Immediate lable, Andrew Loog Oldham's concern.

  • Nice song. I was in Oz in the sixties. He was promoted like he was gold. Unfortunately he had absolutely no talent whatever and was given short shrift in London, which at the time was the capital of music in the sixties. Sad, he was a nice guy. I preferred Billy Thorpe.
