  • How did you get the clock in your video

  • @TheHendricks34 STOCK

  • how much faster is the dsg vs the 6 speed in 0-60?

  • Comment removed

  • @gt3cupcar93 Like 0.2 seconds or so. It really comes down to preference, both are fun though.

  • Earthquake or some shit.

  • The camera stops as soon as it hits 3rd. That's not 60mph, close but no. Like the car not trying to hate, its just your being a little to generous with the stock times.

  • FUCK GTi !!!!!!!!!!!FOCUS RS

  • @alfahead1 Too bad here in Canada and America we get incredibly ugly overpriced Focuses with an astonishing 140BHP.

  • im getting this tommrow. But does this have that special duel clutch built in?

  • 0.9sec schneller alls vorgegeben nice work

  • fu mother fucker

  • 6.9

  • I saw 6.0

  • i raced my friends 03 GTi the other day and i actually won in the 0-70 shifting like a mother fucker....i was in a 08 tacoma 4 banger 5 speed 2wd single cab. i had 2 people in the car he had 4 and i won like 4 out of 9. i have a 8 sec 0-60...bad but its a truck.... is he just not shifting quick or what? its about it 3700lbs with people his about the same. his 180 hp mine 160??wtf

  • You couldn't do that with the new gti's I bet. They will Rock!!

  • well now id give that gti nothign to brag about because i now have a camaro....

  • The GTI is no joke.

  • camaros suck

  • well...what do you have hot shit? the camaro isnt all i got. i also have a 68 cougar with a 454 big block. so whats your hot ride and why are you so narrowminded?

  • @ljdgm uhhh a jetta duh? i dont like camaros because theyre chevys. and i dont have any further reason to talk to you

  • wait you dont like chevys? why bc they make v8s? or big blocks? or small blocks that cam rev past 7k rpm? or bc they can easily make over 400-550 hp? i understand whyd you want that fast jetta...dont hurt yourself in the crazy whip...with a 0-60 in 9 seconds lol or 7.8 which ever...get areal car that does below 6 seconds stock

  • my car did 6 flat when i first got it..now it does it in 4

  • 4? really so now you own a ferarri? lol and its funny were your vids of this hot whip

  • @ljdgm post a vid of 4 seconds then i'll believe you...

  • i never said i have anything that can do 4 seconds? lol i have a camaro that does like 5.5 or 5.3 somthing around there. i dont have shit that can do 4 seconds! although in 1961 the 409 in the bubble top with low gears did a 4 seconds 0 to 60. hard to beleive but im sure with the right gears its possible but i dont think i said anything about me doing a 4 sec 0-60. if i did oops

  • No it doesn't...

  • @cowsgonemadd3 actually it did. now its toast, whippin a sc300 2jzgte now...why dont you stick to s10's and dairy cows redneck

  • I am not a redneck.

  • hah. haha.

  • @cowsgonemadd3 agreed.

  • Alot of cars can do well under 6 seconds 0-60mph stock, the "real" ones can do it on the track through the twisties. Only Chevy I know of that just broke through that barrier are the recent vettes. I love my AMG <3.

  • ...lol i really love how people continue to think american cars cant go around a twistie track. lol its so funny and narrow minded. on my camaro im sure ill keep up with most cars. dont think cars like camaros cant handle c urves?

  • For starters a simple W124 has a independent rear 5 link suspension (Read up on Formula One suspension setups) SImilar?..YES! These are slow heavy cars we are talking about that are leaps and bounds over solid axel Camaros. Not saying Camaros can't handle the curves but you need to realize there are cars out there that are twice as nimble half the power that will ruin you in a circuit. That to me is a car. Drag queens they remain.

  • Well sorry i wasnt looking at these crazy handling cars. by no means are they the best but they can handle. but you can build a car to handle pretty easy. its not like its impossible. drag queens ehh cars that can do both yes

  • A W124 is not a crazy handling car, its a 4 door sedan with 177hp. Just has a far more advanced suspension geometry than a single axel drive. An experinced driver would immediatley tell you the difference between the two. That aside, you can easily modify the stock cammys suspension to make it a decent track warrior without a doubt.

  • oh i dont doubt it. not trying to stir shit up man. just trying to fight for the american camaro guys out there=P sorry man

  • I drive an 09 GTI....also have a 69 z/28. my GTi's tachometer goes to 8k STOCK. my GTi's turbo is upgradeable to rev near 700hp out of my 2.0L Inline 4 cylinder motor. That Camaro will give me goosebumps and all....but the GTi is a better car. It's lighter, handles better, and the engine's much more efficient(200hp/2.0L>425/5.7)

  • now im not trying to shit on you at all so just understand that. your talking 700 hp out of a fully turbo'd 4 cylinder. maxed out roughly. now what if you Turbo'd that camaro? and even lightened it up a couple hundred pounds. i know some turbo'd small blocks running 1000 hp. im sure if you go all out you can achive over that. the camaro is also old and of course it wont handle like new but theres new stuff out to make it handle like new. make a twinn turbo resto mod camaro. with like 1300 hpeasy

  • @ljdgm dude you are missing my point. VW makes better motors. period. At 80-90 horses a Liter(non-turbo)...Camaro should be pushing more than 540-550hp as its a bored out 5.7L. It's NOT though. Its remarkably less. I imagine with a turbo'd 5.7L hp is around 500? Idk...point is the motor's not as efficient. VW's NON-turbo 4.2L V8=420hp......Imagine what would happen if VW made a 6.2L or a 7.0L motor. Never know tho. They don't need too.

  • @DaveyyLovee Actually, they do. the 16.4 in the Veyron. Enough said.

  • @Parricidal 16.4 meants 16 cylinders and 4 turbo's haha. The Veyron is an 8 litre

  • @29ryan49 Fail lol.

  • what year?? and is this the dsg gearbox?

  • that shit is not stock...i own a 2008 volkswagen gti and its not that fast. they are pretty quick...haha

  • pretty sure his speedometer isnt in mph

  • OKAY lets say its not in MPH, its in KMH, whats the difference??????????

  • it issnt in MPH but that is the reason he clocked the 6 seconds when it hit 100 kmh

  • Is it stock?

If it is, than thats good accleration

  • yeah its stock, and it depends who is driving the car and how they are driving it, all those noobs are getting like 7seconds and up! need to know when to shift :D

  • @zero818 It's not very hard, the computer does it for you even in manual at the redline. But yes the DSG is amazing and it's all about how you launch off.

  • @zero818 gti makes 0-60 for 6.5 and the r32 6.2 but you mus have something on that car are you firs owner? and you must be a good driver (Y)

  • Cool, would be nice if we could see the numbers but okay.

  • lol vw gives bad numbers on specs to fool insurance companys, sayin like 7 sec 0-60 when its 6.2 lol. also r32 sayin its 6.5 when its 5.4 lol.

  • lmaoooo thats interesting :D

  • lol dude you are right the site says a gti should be at 7.2 and really its like 6.5 even lower lol

  • Agreed.

  • @toppdogg1983 R32 is the hottest thing since my baby smooth butt.

I still love my 2.0 Turbo though, it makes me hard when I shift.

  • outdated DSG....the twin clutch used in the new Mitsubishi Evo, and Nissan GT-R are far superior.

  • this car is a few years old and it would be fair to look at the new 7 speed dsg used in the next gen GTi along with the 997... now that is better than nissan's 6 speed unit.

  • @Stilini03 GTR is a 7 speed that hits 100kmh in 3.5 flat every time. Not that DSG isn't the best transmission in the world, just fyi.

  • @DaveyyLovee take a look at Porsche's PDK. it helps the 997 Turbo blast to 60mph in 2.7 seconds. and if you are talking about the Nissan GTR, its a 6 speed. the 7 speed twin clutch setup in the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and the Ferrari California are slick units as well.

  • @Stilini03 First year GTR35s had an MT 7 speed twin clutch tranny. I remember pretty vividly cuz its the first 7 speed I'd ever heard of.

  • i don't think you can shift any faster than 60 milliseconds... although i may be wrong.

  • is this all stock?

  • i believe it is

  • stock gti?

  • No!

BMW has has it now, too.

And it's even an little bit faster ;)

The DKG (Doppelkupplungsgetriebe), the "new" SMG

  • well vw had it first which means bmw copied it!

  • VW/Audi were indeed the first to make a twin clutch system.

  • The first one was Porsche, they built it already in the 80's for a racecar.

I think it was the Porsche 962, but i'm not sure.

    @zero818:

I know that Vw had it first, but that wasn't the question. I never ignored it ;)

  • yeah its DSG, the DSG is the fastest shifter in the world, and only VW has it :D

  • and audi ;o)

and the bugatti veyron. ooo the veyron

  • in case you didn't know both audi and bugatti are owned by volkswagen.

  • Volkswagen Passenger Cars · Audi AG · (quattro GmbH) · SEAT, S.A. · Škoda Auto · Lamborghini S.p.A. · Bentley Motors Ltd · Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. all owned by VW :D

  • correction: Audi is a technically a subsidiary of Volkswagen because they don't own all 100% of Audi. they own 99.55%.....

  • no not really. they use the same engines! and im sure thats not .55%!!

  • LOL. YOu tell him!

  • the bugatti veyron's internals are VW design, bugatti just did the styling :P

  • nice vid and car..!

  • IS THIS DSG

  • yes.

  • on mine with lunch control rpms hit 3200 when i release the brake

  • i wish my car had lunch control!!! i'm always hungry! :)

  • very quick, way to stay in the throttle too
