  • ive played for 4 days and can do better

  • What is the e brake button cuz I dont kno if its B. I have xbox 360. And I have the demo but I cant drift perfectly

  • i play the demo, currently waiting to get the game, but i may not get it if the game itself does what the demo does, i will be drifting, like perfect drifts, and it does not even count them? doesn't give score for anything, why is that?

  • sorry but is there a way to configure this g25 to work in 900 degrees in that game?

  • what game is this if i may ask?

  • @dhiabnt

    Race Driver Grid =)

  • I did 1.395.557 in 4 laps:D

  • i cant drift without assist , i cant even drive without it , so why say drift without it ?

  • are u playing this on pc

  • i hope NFS will find its way back to reality instead of wasting time on more and more arcade bullsh*t...

  • Gran Turismo is the best game for drifting because you can edit the cars settings and it's more realistic

  • gt sucks

  • Forza is much better for drifting if you go by FMDA rules and not buy points.

  • I REALLY NEED HELP!!! ASAP please i just got the logitech driving force gt on ps3 and i canted to know how to drift but its soo harder then the controller...on the controller im amazing i can link so many many drift more then a hundred & ill be #1and now i cant link 1...ya iknow i suck with sterring wheeel so can u tell me what is the best steering wheel setting/ setup to drifft on??? asap please thanks

  • yo leg u usin manual transmission?

  • yes he is

  • Do you hold the handbreak down while drifting, or just press it for a second?

  • i hold it down a bit but depends how sideways ur goin

  • @ SonikHawk, just hold it for a second. otherwise you stop

  • i thort BEER was a gud team..i always beat BEERNorwegian1 on ps3 every time

  • We're more of a "play to have a good time" team. If you want figures though, BEER GRID PC has spawned the majority of the top 10 drifters.

  • nice video,

can you tell me what ehm... track this is?

what circuit? it looks perfect for drifting :D

  • Okutama.

  • im 13 and i play it and that is weird but u don't have 2 call him a fag maby he does drive real cars. The pro f1 drivers spend a quarter of their free time on simulators

  • I'll answer these in order. I'm not a faggot, I have sex with women of the female sex. I'm 23. I currently do it and have done it semi pro in the past (Formula D, Drift Days, etc).

Ho ho, he's right. I do live with my mother currently to help around the house since my fathers' passing.

  • Good to see folks take on these /b/ tards good, nice racing and good tips.. im a starter drifter.. well.. in GRID.. just practicing in the demo. the full version will come tomorow for me :)

    *subscribes*

  • when i play the feet dont move when driving, does that only work with the steering wheel

  • damn it man ur good,i dun even know how to drift

  • i just figured it out how to use the e-brake in drifting i just tap the e-brake while in a drift to keep the drift going btw i just use my keyboard..

  • your a beast dood umm do you use just mouse and keyboard?

  • Logitech G25 wheel.

  • Yo bro ur using stearing wheel for computer? how much those it cost?

  • lego dude add my xfire : hazez0r

i would like to join team beer for grid

  • You drift hella slow.

  • what video game is this

  • Race Driver: GRID for the PC. It is also out on PS3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS.

  • do u drift in real life?

this isn't like a personal attack or anything like im not some crazy outdoors man wanting video games extinct im jw because those are real life drift techniques

  • Unfortunately, due to my schedule with work and such, I don't anymore. I used to a couple of years back and took a drift learning course beforehand so most of what I explain is roughly textbook that I was taught years ago. Currently though, I do try to participate in privateer rallies and SCCA events. Even though there is sliding in rallying, it uses slightly different techniques (especially since the car I use is 4WD as opposed to RWD)

  • Also another thing to add now that I thought about it. These techniques are very easily done if you have past experience in drifting or have seen videos such as Keiichi Tsuchya's Drift Bible since the drifting aspect of the game (GRID, if you or anyone else is wondering) was supervised by the manager of Team Orange which.. in my opinion does explain why there is a Subaru in the game for drifting.

  • sweet vid man...good tutorial

  • to kizati,

i think you pull the steer to hard and then you get understeer

  • I have one more question XD, When i drift it always oversteers, like when i pull the wheel to the left so it initiates the drift i can't turn back most of the time, it just spins around :(, how do you do it? It's like there's some settings that are wrong

  • If the wheel is spinning to counter steer that's normal and it's called the caster effect (you physics majors know what I'm talking about). Basically, the wheels are trying to align themselves with the direction of travel. When this happens in drift, it's a matter of throttle control. If you need a demonstration of this, any drift video that shows in-car views is helpful to see what they're doing. Mid-drift, sometimes I will make small corrections turning opposite of the counter steer.

  • watch?v=P1hzHNkxPj8

If you put that after the YouTube address, it will show you a good video. It illustrates what I mean by the wheel movement and shows footwork on the pedals.

Hope this was helpful and if you have any other questions, let me know :)

  • øhøhhøhøwøhwhwøhwøøøhøh......

  • Nice Tutorial, thanks from a beginner.

Question: You said you'd lightened up the Weight and FF of your wheel....What kind of numbers are you talking about? And how light is it relative to your normal settings?

I'm curious because I've just got GRID and a MOMO wheel and find it hard just racing let alone drifting..

    Thanks for any info,

    Take care.

  • If I remember how it was the day I recorded this, I think (in game) I set it to 40% weight and 40% FFB while I did get the bottom one (I think that's FFB effects) at 100%. Normally, I keep everything at 100% and on the Logitech profiler, I keep everything but centering spring at 100%. Centering spring stays around 40%-50%. It's all about playing around with settings to find the perfect set up. If you think it's hard to do anything, try adjusting the steering linearity down in game :)

  • Should I drift with assists on or off?

  • It really depends on how comfortable you feel with assists off. I keep TC on only because with assists off, I'll lose a combo mid drift for some reason. Some of the techniques are done easier with assists off and some are easier to experiment with assists on. Again, it's really up to how comfortable you feel with them on or off. I would recommend going through the list and turning them off one by one and getting used to it there first and then move on to them completely off :)

  • Great!

  • Nice one man, helped alot :)
