  • ANYBODY WITH A RAPTOR 700

if you're loooking for horsepower dont waste your money on bigger displacement. a raptor is already 680 something cc's.

    what you need is this.

14:1, larger throttle body, bigger injector, web cam stage 4, dual barker exhaust, ported head (+2mm larger intake and exhaust valves) and powercommander. that's all you need, this combination (with correct porting) will EASILY push 80+ horsepower. while moving the powerband into the top end

  • @dlinecg i already got everything you listed. lol. except mine is a 770 now with a 54mm tb and denso pink injector. i just got it all back together

  • @devanlee29

    lol killer dude.

i was just saying if somebody is looking for a raptor "budget" build you can keep stock displacement and still make over 80 horsepower.

  • lush m8, does any 1 know the stock tourque on them coz they got very low horsepower so the tourque will be amazingly high rite? (raptors are my faverote vehicle but iv just never been able to find the stock tourque)

  • when i had my raptor dyno tuned , and it only did 44hp, and i have only barker's dual and pc5

  • should be around 75 hp

  • Damn, ill belive 70 hp out of those mods for sure.

  • what are the mods done to this?

  • JE 12:5 piston, port and polished head,+1mm intake and exhaust valves, +2mm throttle body, megacycle X-4 race cam, barker dual exhaust, gytr filter without lid, power commander and dynatek programmable ignition

  • @devanlee29 ya your bike with that build probly does make 65-70 hp. i have a dyno chart in my hand for my 700 raptor. CP 14:1 piston, stage 3 hotcam, 2 mm larger throttle body, barker dual exhaust and powercommander. it made 62 horsepower and 48 lbs torque and that's whithout any head work. (next on my ta do list) :)

  • @dlinecg Call jon at racersedge 520-631-0797. I just changed my entire buils and looking at around 85rwhp. I did a 105 bore with a CP 12:1, raceredgehead with +2 int and +2 exhaust valves with webb4 cam. 54mm TB with custom intake. Racersedge has the best head available for the 700's and honda 450's. Nobody can touch one of his bikes.

  • @devanlee29 yup. but the guy i bought most of the parts from for my engine also had a raptor there that makes 82 hp, stock bore/stroke. your build but 14:1 and stock displacement. he's on youtube, ill find his video and ill give it to you.

and yes, these raptors are untouchable. i got back from glamis last weekend and i wasnt beat by anybody, even lonestar banshees. if u want a drag bike. the raptor is it.

  • it read lower than other dynos cuz ur not even revving it. put a vid on here when u take it there again and open it up.

  • Thats not me on the quad. they are tunning it at every 200 rpms for every throttle position thats why there not reving it up. if you listen you can here it rev a little more every so often. The final run they put it up into 5th gear and just eased into it up to about 7500rpms. they didnt jump on it hard like most people do.however it is properly tuned and running very strong

  • Ohhh.... ok where do u ride where u can get 93mph anyway? cuz thst sounds like fun. :p

  • I dont personally know if it would do 93mph. seems kinda fast, thats just what thy dyno said. i may take it to the drag strip in the near future and run it 1/4 mile

  • cool. u should get a video of that if u actually do it.

  • Iam going to go down and race for sure, just not sure when. i will deffinatly get a video though

  • k. cant wait to see that.

  • maybe try a lower gear? i really couldn't tell you were going at it... how many runs did you do? because i know my car puts down waay better numbers in 3rd than in 4th

  • I was just running the camera. This was just about 4-5000rpm's, just tunning at this point.

  • Explain? The dyno doesnt know what gear you are in so it only reads acceleration rate of the drum. You may accelerate the drum faster in a lower gear but it tops out quicker and at a lower mph at the same RPM. I operate a Dynojet and have done many vehicles in different gears and it doesnt change the #s really. Its like tire sizes, the weight of the wheel combo affects the #s but the tire size doesnt being the same weight.

  • DAMM WAT MODS ??

  • 12:5 Je piston, complete head port and polish,

    +1mm valves,kibble springs,megacycle X-4 race cam,+2mm throttle body,barker dual exhaust,gytr intake with no lid,Dynatek programmable ignition,and Power commander.

  • 93mph.stock gearing
