looks to me like you may have some build up on the sensors, they are magnetic so any arrent metal in the area can get stuck to the sensor and cause thwese sorta readings..

o wow....i have an 06 gxp, silver one....had it for lil over 2 yrs now and never seen that before....the only issue that i have with the heads up is sometyimes its really dim and other times its light SUPER bright (which i prefer) has yours ever done that before?

No, I havent had any problems with my HUD...ever. This problem was actually causing the analog speedo and HUD speedo to jump all over the place, only did it once tho and never happened again. Weird!
