thats one fucking monster motor. its probably starving for power though. motor looks like it came from a huge industrial air compressor or something that probably ran on 240 volts. id get at least 8 batteries for that beast

Awesome!! Talking about solar power, get a couple of battery solar powered trickle chargers, so you run the car off the battery but it charges!

@TheCatSteve the goal was not to make it fast, the goal was to make it electric. Also, thats not entirely true. We could have mounted 1 or 2 more batteries in the front and doubled the speed.

4.5Ah?Thats definitely not enough for the kart.You should have at least 4x40Ah batteries.Those small UPS or whatever they are batteries will not stand that abuse long and they will fail quite fast.

with the kelly controller, if you have enough batteries, this thing can basically go up a wall. so yes, if you can find room to mount the batteries.
