Umm i hardmodded a battery recently and i hacked my friends psp with the blind screen you were talking about and i went to do mine... and it bricked when it starts up and i press cross it goes for about 4 seconds and shuts itself down... help?

Yes, a battery is useless without a memory stick with the proper files installed, aka the "Magic Memory Stick".

I only have one battery, what is the difference between a Pandora and the one included with the PSP from factory? Can I convert my battery into a Pandora and keep using it? The battery I sell comes "hacked" into service mode. This allows it to install custom firmware on any and all PSPs. You cannot make one with a regular PSP.

Probably not, since you need a hacked PSP to make it, and the battery needs to be unpatched. Unpatched batteries are scarce since Sony stopped making them, but good luck anyway.

You need CFW in order to MAKE the battery, not use it.

As with any installation, if you turn off the PSP while its updating etc, you can brick it. But the battery can even unbrick PSP's :)

Think about it guys :) Why would you want to return your pandora battery back to normal mode. IF you run into a very bad situation, a NORMAL battery isn't gonna do you any good. Put this pandora battery "in storage" after install of CFW.....to be safe!! And NEVER erase the memory stick. Don't think you can just COPY to another MS. Some reason I haven't been able. Think has to do with a special partition.

The software is corrupted to the point where it will not boot normally. It will boot into a black screen and shut off. This is a full brick, there is also a half brick, if you're on custom firmware.

Hacking your PSP is essentially just making it so you can run unsigned apps. But this allows you to make custom firmware...basically play ISOS off your mem stick, play homebrew (which means emulators and such) and much, much more.

Nice video, just remember to backup the NAND before you install 3.71M33-2 ! Why ? Because if it bricks, you can restore the NAND and unbrick it. AND IT WON'T WORK WITH ANOTHER PSP'S NAND DUMP.

So be careful because this is the only way (for now) to unbrick a Slim !

Of course, but the stick itself is to be used in conjunction with the battery, so its not a normal stick anymore. When you want to use it normally just reformat it through your psp.
