Don't worry about adsense, reason being is because if you are attacked by a "click bomber" (someone who doesn't like you so they repetitively click your adds) then your pretty much screwed. It happened to me, my adsense was close because of "invalid click activity" and now I cannot monetize any of my videos, websites, etc., and I'll never be able to apply for a youtube partnership of show. You can try to appeal, but it's pretty much a once in a million chance.

@dwangdude At the moment you can monetize all the video that don't have any copywrited material in them. Of course to be a full partner you would need to delete all the copywrited videos and have all original content. That's my understanding anyways. I understand that the video would have to be getting a significant volume of hits for any significant earnings to arise from it. I hope to start generating high-quality original content soon and completely re-do my channel.

my problem is solved, just takes a couple of days for youtube to recognise that you have received and read the email. they will then send you another one(which you dont have to read) basicly saying that you can now monetise your videos. just have to wait for a bit and keep an eye on the 'my videos/video manager page' and you will eventually see the 'monetize' button :D

right i signed up for monetization and adsense after google/youtube invited me. it said at the end of the set up that i would receive a confirmation email within 48 hours then i can start monetizing. i have recieved that email and logged into my adsense account, but youtube seems to be unaware of this and i cant submit any of my videos for revenue sharing :/ little confused as to what i need to do now :(

Hey, Youtube offered to Monetize my account, however i'm stuck on step 2.

I chose the "Use an existing Adsense account" option, was sent a verification email, and now Youtube have 3rd party Access to my Adsense account.

It's been 2 days, however, whenever i open upthe form, im still on step 2 and it doesn't allow me to move on, and whenever i select the " Use an existing Adsense account" option again, it just re-sends me the E-mail :o

@lukeba214 no I didn't have an Google adsense account until i received an invite from YouTube and created one. I was approved but I am still waiting for YouTube and adsense to link the accounts. Been 2 days now. And I still don't have any options to monetize my videos.

@superkidclaireo The ones that are eligible..it will say "monetize" next to the vids. Only two of mine were eligible (so only those two had the monetize option next to them in the my videos section) because I used the audio swap in my other ones.. which really sucks and in retrospect I should have seen that coming lol.. my video with the most views has audio swap so it's not eligible..*sigh* ah well. Hope that helped.

Is that considered a product even though I own it ? Or how about if I'm showing a video with dell monitor I'm working on. Is that a no no. many little things to consider I guess.

monetization.

@EggoFreak Once you use audioswap it's not eligible. When you apply for monetization for a certain vid, you also have to state if you have any content that isn't yours..and then you have to explain your rights to the content.

@MangoVX Yes you can, they offer you the monetize because based on the analysis chart your video will make a lot of views. They offered it to me in 2009 when my video had 10,000 views and now my video has 120,000+ views. I made a lot of money from the monetize. Back then it was called Revenue Share.
