I just have to say thankyou after watching this vid. I moved to Arizona 6 years ago for work and theres nothing here like the single track in Michigan. I am now selling everything I own to get back to MI for this summer just to ride the trails. Ever rode the Wolverine loops?  Those were my fav.

You mean as in Bent Wheels Competition Club? If so, a good friend of mine was the president of that club back in the early 80's. They use to run a National ISDE. I've ridden, and won it a few times.

I thought it looked familiar. B loop is the best ride in my opinion, a lot of elevation change...

I cut much of that trail back in the mid-70's

An excellent ride. Even in the event where you only have about an hour to ride, take the north B loop with the cut off. Nice work!

Check out the Michigan Cycle Conservation Club web site. Enter as a guest and view the events. The Phil Bean Memorial ride is a great place to meet new friends and ride these trails. Last time I rode tht event was '96, but we had a blast.
