I have a problem: I bought Turok For ut3 RUns perfect on my sys Athlon x2 5200+ @2,6 ghz each core 8800 gts 512 Mb 2gb of ram now my problem: TUrok runs perfectly as long as i dont press any button or move the mouse there can be the biggest explosions it runs perfect as long as i dont move or look araound. another wired thing: when i press a random button anywhere in the game for example a cutscene its starts lagging aswell. plz help me i wanna play ^^

lol even i could run it in med settings i guess, my pc is AMD Athlon 3000+ @ 2.4 Ghz and a 7600 Gs and only 1 gb ram :D

tbh mate no :( i wouldnt reccomend buying it, it got very boring very fast for me but it doesnt mean its like that for everyone else,, maybe try a demo 1st see what u think

never seems to dip below 40 even on action packed areas.. mostly 75fps i have vsync on ive never really tried benchmarking

How did you enabled antialiasing?

I'm running turok on Geforce 8800GTS 512M Forceware 169.21 under win xp and I didn't succeed.

I tried renaming the executable as Bioshock or r6vegas_game.exe

this game is 75fps but thats with vsync on ive never tried benchmarking and ive never noticed any slowdown , nice rig specs i was gonna get an e6850 but it was 50£ more so i went with the e6750 and its guarenteed to run at 3.2ghz anyway hehe

Its a good rig. Just make sure you get the 512MB 8800GT. The 256MB ones is rubbish.

Other than that, make sure you have a good mainboard too. XFX or EVGA are the kings when it comes to gaming and over clocking mainboards, MSI has some VERY good stuff too like the P7N Diamond.

ASUS!!!!!!!!!!! best motherboards ive ever come across in 5 yrs, i know xfx are quality parts and i thought MSI stood for more shit inside hehe i had 2 msi boards in the past and both have died before 12mths

Lol for me its the opposite. Asus are the WROST for me. I had the Striker Extreme and the P5N 32 SLI, both were horrible. No over clocking potentional, and they caused errors all the time. They moved their main factory to China or so, thats what I ehard. and since then everyone seems to have problems with Asus. Well I dont care, I'm happy with XFX and the other brands and I'll stick with it.

i think 8600 gts would be able to at least on medium/high settings

and no its older gts g80 core xfx 640mb version theres not much difference except u have to make fan run at 100% for it to run as cool
