@Bsblob While i can kind of see your point, i don't see how one is "safer" than the other. Nah surf rodz aren't as stable as a Jimz or a Ronin. If set-up correctly though with some shimmed riptide chubbies or fatcones (etc) they have all the lean anyone will practically need while having less slop than any cast truck. The only fault i see is their bushing seat, which ill admit is a piece of shit attempt at making buyers use only Solidz bushings.

I guess it mostly opinion. I find surf rodz to be very unstable at speeds. these things do end up coming down to preference. Most people i know prefer surf rodz for fast free ride and such. I've bombed on surf rodz a couple of times and it was never enjoyable, i couldn't get comfortable which is probably the most unsafe part for me. the reason i posted is because i assumed most people sided with me, i mean when is the last time you've seen a racer on surf rodz..

I just usually like hearing peoples reasoning or opinions. I used the Surf Rodz RKP and didn't enjoy them very much (well not enough to spend 200 bucks on them at least). But i did pick up their Indeesz, and with surf keeyz and wedging I've managed to go about 40ish on them. Far different from my 40/30 Ronins though.

yes i agree with the comment below it is mainly to do with the rider. I was in a race recently and a guy with surf rods precision trucks got speed wobbles and fell off ann me and all my other friends only ride calibers and randals (Standard trucks) and we where fine and yes we where going the same speed as the guy with surf rods. haha its good to see the quality of the perrini leathers because i recently bought some. This is a rocker video.

@makyack : Nothing really other than the impact. It's an AWESOME feeling sliding along at 50mph and you don't feel that gnar bite of road-rash happening. Of course you will get rash under your leathers if they don't fit well...Still way better than none at all though.
