Cheap brand or not, that is very unsettling. There is mounting evidence that Cell phones are indeed dangerous. It's a billion dollar industry folks, and they don't want that getting out. On longer calls I have noticed my phone getting strangly warm. I would recommend keeping calls short. This could be a major health issue.
This shit is fake. You can see the frame change if you watch it carefully. You cannot heat anything to 180 degrees with a cellphone. Cellphones use radiowaves not microwaves. A powerful kitchen microwave would take longer to pop a kernel.
You do understand that radio waves and microwaves are only different in frequency and amplitude? It is the same type of particle except for the energy involved.
First of all the author of this video just made a video showing how he Faked it.
Second, the frequency is what makes microwaves fundamentally different. And it is at that frequency which microwaves have the property of heating water and oil.
yea dont even bother trying convince people further spam, the same people that are saying this is fake are probably the same ones saying we never walked on the moon.
I have watch several of these videos now. I'm starting to see a pattern to a theory I have about this. It would seem that certain el cheapo brands do this. In the videos that work like the one above, it's always at least one or more el-cheapo low tech phone and the corn pops. Use all high end or middle tech phones and the corn does not pop. Look at some other videos and see if you don't see the same thing.
Perhaps the kernal on a surface that is clear? That way you aren't touching it and it can be seen that there is no heating element underneath. (I don't believe that, but some do.) This is such a crazy thing- I cannot replicate it.
This has been flagged as spam show
Look at my Favorites whats pulsed modulated microwaves from today are doing to human and animals and plants.

It is still not proven that it's save.
When it hat no effects on health.
It is a good technique.
But all over the world there are to many people having all the same health problems with the signals from wireless devices.
i have to shielded my house below 1uW/m2 to life in it. More than this will courses sleep problems. And that couches other health problems after time.
This is one of the four video's now thats make me think it's plausible.

video yourself going to a shop, buying a bag of popcorn, then gluing it to a WOODEN stick, then doing this, with NO CUTS, to prove its real.

search for "spambutcher" and check out my newer video - it's closer to what you want.
Even if I did all that - I still don't think you'd believe it.

You could cover the popcorn in oil, and heat up the metal holding it and it would pop.

to try to satisfy people - I will try shooting a version:
-Without the helping hands -or- on a surface (probably superglue the popcorn to a stick or something)
-The camera zoomed further out
Might take a few days to get around to.
spambutcher 3 years ago
Why would it "take a couple of days to do all that?
I can't believe how guliable people can be
ddavi021 3 years ago
because I have other stuff to do besides making youtube videos.
one way or the other - the new video is done - search for "spambutcher" and you'll find it

whoops - I accidentally removed a comment suggesting that I had heated up the helping hands (not looking to censor anything).
I assure you I did not heat up the helping hands.
