My major complaint lies with Gervinho. An excellent play by Robin van Persie which gave him a sitter from 8 yards, only for him to smash it wide. That was inexcusable, a defender could have put that in.
Jenkinson clearly isn't ready for Championship level, let alone the Premier League. Now that Sagna is out, will he have to start every game? If that is the case then I fear for our attacks even more. Wenger had to make substitutions in midfield (Benayoun) to back him up.
When was the last time Arsenal came back from behind against a top Premier League side and WIN? I can remember...maybe that 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge 4 years...

And a rhetorical question. When will we see Park in action? He is captain of a strong South Korea team, I should think that Wenger would look to use him as a strike partner with Van Persie. Why isn't he getting a game? Ah the mysteries of Arsen Wenger. Van Persie can't operate as a lone striker to the same capacity of Thierry Henry (in his prime) who was a cold blooded assassin. Arsenal are crying out for a 'selfish' striker who is greedy for goals, and won't pass the ball in the 18 yard box.
What led to the second goal is that no one closed down Sandro. He was allowed to pick out Walker. That should not have happened. The biggest problem today was not the defence. We didn't create enough chances, and the few we had were wasted. Friedal was rarely tested. I think it was a mistake to leave OX out of the squad especially on the form he is in. He would have been the ideal sub instead of Arshavin who didn't get into the game when he came on. Bale had a lot of joy after Sagna went off.
Arteta, Herman the German,Jenkinson, have all proved ineffective buys none of these would have got into the team two years ago. Walcot, Ramsey, Arsharvin & Rosicky are so getting used to playing poorly they don't seem to care anymore. Ramsey is so mediocre its painful. Its sad days at the Emirates. I would not swap Wenger for the world but he sorely misses the support on the board of David Dein. Apart from that you should have worn your red shoes..Love your tweets Gooner Goodnight X
