Are you using a Wheel for this because your line is so steady I think that might be the main factor I keep failing I can't keep a steady line. That and the fact the AI is retarded and always want to push me out of the slip stream I'm in

@Ohpooper No, I never use a wheel, I could never get on with them, the time delay on the steering was always terrible and the forced feedback is even worse, so I always use a pad, even on GT5! ... I've been criticized before for not skipping through this video when I recorded it, which is what most people tend to do in order to cut the video's run time down, but I deliberately left the full mission time on this video so people could see, in real time, exactly how I did it! :)

@Liberaltedjo The best advice I can give you, like I've already said in some earlier comments, is to make sure you DON'T let the car get up into 6th gear AT ANY TIME, stay in 5th all the way, make sure you don't make any sudden or sharp turning or lane changes and be sure to let them catch you up and pass you so that you can then use their slipstream to catch up to 1st place, that's all I do! This one, like all the others, isn't difficult :D

if i do that race they hit me in the back... = 263 km/h -> 274 km/h... they dont stay that close to me?!

@vyvynyl The trick is to keep looking behind you and let them overtake, after which, the objective is to use their slipstream (Drafting) to overtake them .... Just as I do in this video.

@drewerz01 well in the very beginning you pass them at around 280 km/h... when i do that i make to much distance... they can't keep up.

@vyvynyl If you can do it without using their slip stream, then by all means do it ...

I never have, I find it much easier to let them catch up and overtake, I even lift off a little & move aside each time to let them catch up & pass me !

I'll give you another tip ... Don't let the car get up into 6th gear at any time ! Once you've got into 5th gear, hold it in 5th throughout the entire test as the car picks up speed a lot quicker while drafting if it's in 5th, works for me every time :)

@drewerz01 that must be it!!! if i drive 280... inj 6th gear i slow down till 265 km/h. in 5th gear its +/- 260-263 km/h... that lil bit difference makes it possible them to catch up
