these things can destroy someones life.........put it under your enemies car on drone full volume fucking lol my neighbour bought a new car..........guess whats going under his next car??? he shouldnt play music/have barking dogs then should he, if im not mistaken he is now losing his hair and his wifes left him.
Mine seems to be broken. I thought the battery died (it did), but I ordered new batteries from Hong Kong. Voltmeter says the batteries are good, but the machine won't make a beep any more. Troubleshooting hints or just toss it?
@LaughingFerretVideos how long did your package take to get to the Uk because I ordered something from think geek and I'm wondering when it will come and I live in the Uk
I have had this thing on hidden in a cubicle for weeks, The sound happens so few and far between that no one seems to give a rats ass about it. Disappointing to say the least.
Yeah, it's incredibly painful. I actually own one of these, but he didn't press the button in the video. Even if he did, the mic doesn't pic up on frequencies in that range.
Is it loud enough to be heard in a classroom from like 15-20 feet away, when amplified by a hollow metal pipe... And no I don't have a hidden reason behind this question :D
Hey dude, did you order this from the thinkgeek website? if you did, did they charge a high unknown at time of purchase importing fee? I have heard they do not mark their packages as gift so you get charged? :)
@craigjaggs This was actually as a gift so did get charged full price. Popular ThinkGeek products like these are usually available on eBay for a cheaper price though.
@DYNASTYxPRO Basically, as we get older, our ears become less sensative. Higher pitch of sounds also become harder to hear, so the teen buzz works in that only people below a certain age can hear it. They might tell someone, and if that person is above the audible age, they'd think the other person was going crazy. Also long exposure to the sound can be very annoying
according to the ThinkGeek website, the chip will emit the sound randomly every 2 to 8 minutes. Sounds at structured timing will allow the victim to expect the sound and perhaps uncover your prank. ;)
@seamonkeys12y, no unless you are staticly charged.
